A really neat and intimate seafood restaurant downtown Collingswood. I would recommend making reservations as seating is limited. The food is excellent and the staff was friendly. They are only open for dinner and there is meter parking on Haddon Ave.
I went and had their tasting menu tonight. I started with the New Zealand Mussels Rockefeller style. The second course was fresh made in house gnocchis. They were perfectly balanced with the right sauce/gravy. For the entree, I ordered the whole fish. Tonight's feature was a Florida Pompano, I choose the Mediterranean style sauce and added capers. The entree comes with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, I added sauteed spinach as well. This was such a wonderful and light dish I ate the entire meal! To finish the meal, in comes dessert. I choose a cannoli. It was probably the best cannoli I ever had. This was one of my favorite culinary experiences. This place deserves 5 stars and I can't wait to go back for the next fresh fish of the day (coming from a new fish eater).
OUSTANDING !! You want absolute great service, food your not expecting nor found anywhere I've been, this place has a fantastic twist on what you would expect. I did an all shellfish tour, fresh oysters, clams and muscles I never even thought of cooking this way. Nice surprise, service was 110%. Need a break from the norm, this is the spot!! Pssst long hots are fantabulous......
We booked our Valentine's Day dinner here well in advance and we were so glad we did!! Our appetizers and entrees were excellent!!! Our BYOB selection paired wonderfully with our meal. The only disappointment was the timing of our entrees. My husband's was delivered about 5 minutes before mine. And, since I'm a dessert lover, I was eagerly anticipating it. Unfortunately, it seems the desserts were not made in-house. My 6 layer chocolate cake was good. But the key lime pie had a chocolate sauce drizzle on top (strange?) and absolutely 0 flavor. Everything else was made fresh to order and wonderful. I recommend the hiring of a pastry chef to compliment the delicious food. Excellent decor and ambiance as well. The service/servers were fantastic. Will definitely go back.
Went for restaurant week. The good first since it outweighs the bad. The majority of the food was amazing. The service...I can't say enough about the service. The night I was there, the servers were young guys, probably on summer break...and the HUSTLED! These kids were attentive and polite! Water didn't run dry for long. Owner offered us free wine with dinner. What an experience! That said, my Chilean Sea Bass was a bit over cooked. That doesn't mean it was bad. It was still good, but it's wasn't spot on like everything else. All in all, I recommend it highly.
Wonderful experience here! The owner is fantastic and very friendly. The food is amazing and even better than I expected. I had the tasting sampler with the hot peppers, lobster mac and cheese, chicken, and bread pudding combo. Couldn't have asked for more.
Great dinner me and my wife had a lovely evening. The food was awesome we really enjoyed our flatbread appetizer. Chris was awesome he made our evening amazing with his hospitality. We will be back looking forward to trying the lobster mac and cheese only because we had no more room from our awesome dinner.
Thanks Chris and staff
The food here was prepared to order. The staff love what they do and it shows! I had the special starter, a poke taco and had the whole pompano fish with a garlic sauce for my entree. Both were fresh with satisfying layers of flavor.
