Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. I enjoy the Primo Italian, which already comes with prosciutto (I usually have to add it and pay extra at other places.) The staff is great and when you leave a tip, they ring a bell and yell "thank you" in unison. If you sign up for their rewards program, on Wednesdays you get $2 off the Primo size hoagie. You also earn points with each purchase. I had accumulated $10 worth and recently used them to purchase a sandwich. Be sure to sign up before you go and start earning right away.
Best chain to get a hoagie outside of Philly. Forget all those "sub shop" chains in the area. We're right outside of Philly so hoagies are the way to go and Primo does them right. Everything is fresh and made to order and their seeded rolls are delicious.
Love the Roast beef Schwartzie. If you want to truly experience a Primo Hoagie you must get the Primo size. This gets you their signature sesame baggette roll, but be warned, it's a lot more food.
South Jersey's best Hoagies. High quality meats and cheeses, and no skimping with ingredients. All made with the best Italian bread rolls, which is what makes a great hoagie.
The name, HOAGIE, seems to be unique to the greater Philly area and in New Jersey,as well as possibly NYC. But in my travels along the east coast the sandwiches are called submarine sandwiches or subs. The difference is usually the bread, if it is not made with Italian bread it's not a Hoagie.
There was no wait. Staff were polite and helpful. Sandwich was made quickly. It is a little on the pricier side of hoagie pricing but it is made with quality ingredients that tastes great.
Their hoagies are so good, the onions really create the flavor for their sandwiches, they almost taste marinated, which they may be. The selection of breads to choose from helps and adds a unique touch when assembling your sandwich.
