We have been enjoying one of the few old-time buffets still around. It's economical and has great southern standards. My favorites are the fried chicken or chopped steak or liver and onions. Desserts are all good. Great choice of sides, and the biscuits are fresh.
I grew up going here with my grandmother often as a child/young adult. I'm in my late 30s now, and I can still remember the smell when walking in the door. I make it a point to go when I'm in town to see my mother. I love how quiet it is, how delicious the food is, and the friendliness of the staff. I'm so glad to see that it's still around. The food choices are expansive, and there's always something for everyone. West Ashley Is the perfect location for this cafeteria, as most of the people eating there are the older generation. The epitome of comfort food.
This is always my nostalgic restaurant when visiting the Lowcountry. Amazing experience every time. The only problem is I want everything they have, so portion control !!! Keep this tradition alive. You can thank me later

Prices are very fair and the food servers and waitressea are happy to see you and do a great job showing their appreciation to you.
Someone took me out for Thanksgiving lunch. Roast Beef, Red Potatoes, grilled onions, lettuce & tomatoes, seasoned Green Beans, and Mexican Corn Bread.

Beware the BBQ chicken, it had bones in it. BUT our server was quick to change it out for something else for my husband. Fair pricing and overall really good food. Loved the strawberry shortcake. 🍓

Large selection of choice. The serving line is extensive with a number of attentive servers. Everything was presented in an appetizing manner.
Food was good comfort food and seemed to be enjoyed by present diners. Out table had country fried steak, baked chicken and grilled pork chops, with a variety of sides and dessert. We enjoyed our meals and did not leave the restaurant hungry.
Great food and family atmosphere. I ordered the fried shrimp, broccoli, white rice & tomatoes with okra. Delicious 😋
