Oak Steakhouse

We went for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. The filet mignon was incredible. We got the peppercorn crust with the grilled shrimp. Just delicious! The peanut butter Oreo dessert is amazing 🤤 The drinks were well made and the wine list is to die for. The atmosphere was so nice. They were playing jazz music and our server Chris was so friendly yet professional. Chris took care of us. Absolutely perfect evening. Highly recommend this place!!!

We can from Chicago. I had made a reservation for our post engagement dinner! The staff was amazing start to finish. She had the filet and I had the dry-aged rib eye was mouthwatering and delicious all the way through!! The crispy pork belly dish is definitely a go to starter along with the oysters Rockefeller!! 10/10 would eat here again! Thank you to our server Dave was awesome through and through

Our experience at Oak last Sunday was perfect. The food was excellent. In fact, it may have been one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. My Mom also raved about her steak. Our waiter, Cam, did an amazing job. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and patient as we really took our time looking at all of the great options on the menu. The atmosphere (exposed brick, nice lighting) was also 10/10, which is why we ultimately chose Oak after carefully looking at a lot of options in Charleston.

Sept 19, 2021 - Charleston, SC Just look at this! The delicious food, speaks for itself. I can talk about how great everything was, but see for yourself, and go there! No further review needed for the quality, flavor, and presentation. 5 stars for service as well! We sat at the bar, and the lady working the bar was fantastic! We went on a Sunday afternoon. Reservations are highly recommended for the dining room, as they were booked full for the evening.

I couldn’t have asked for better service. The atmosphere was nice, but nothing to write home about. The sides are family-style which was unexpected. The steak was cooked well, but the crust was a bit too burnt for my liking (the sauce helped dampen that issue). Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and will return next time I’m in the area.
