This place was recommended by our carriage driver and we loved it. Sat at the raw bar and had one of the best oyster shooters I have ever had. Greg gave us great service and the place was really nice. Loved the bacon wrapped crab stuffed shrimp as well

Great atmosphere! I love the eclectic decor, I can eat here in casual or dress, not a stuffy place at all. The food was amazing! It's hard to find a place where seafood isn't overcooked. Our server was fantastic, the prices were reasonable. I will be coming back!

We had a cool spot for dinner. Our service was exceptional. All 4 of us loved the order of hush puppies. I like them best without the butter or only tiny bit. 3 of us tasted both the seafood casserole as well as the seafood with pasta. Casserole is our favorite. My sister had the snapper and she thought it was OK. FYI, the Brussel Sprouts are not IN the casserole. I was a little concerned about that being in the casserole, but it's a side. The Cline red blend wine was also delicious. Prices were very reasonable.

New to the city and was at the City Market late night. Was looking for seafood (it is after all Charleston) and saw the Oyster Bar. One look at the menu and saw everything I was hungry for. Oysters, hush puppies, calamari and shrimp and grits. See pictures. All very good. Sat “outside” and atmosphere was well done with what you expect at a sea good place

I’m very happy with this restaurant. It was a last minute choice but the best decision I made for lunch in Charleston! Shane provided amazing service and was very attentive. They made sure the beers were at the perfect temperature for a hot summer day. The food was delicious…. The shrimp and grits are award winning like the menu said (I approve). I got to try my friend’s seafood casserole too, and I would highly recommend it with the garlic potatoes. I’m very satisfied.

Great food, service and atmosphere. McKenna took great care of our party. Oysters, fisherman’s stew, crab she soup, shrimp wrapped in bacon and hush puppies were awesome! Drinks were da’ bomb too!

This meal was fantastic! Perfect location, walkable from several parking garages and street parking. My husband and I each got the fried seafood platter and hushpuppies as an app. The hushpuppies were perfectly fried with a delicious sweet butter dip. The fried platter was amazing! My husband said it was some of the best seafood he had ever had. I got the garlic potatoes and coleslaw as sides on my platter, which were wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place.

We ended up her twice. One visit was based on a food tour and the other was an impromptu decision. Food was consistent (shrimp and grits, soup, pimento cheese, fried combo, grilled trio, etc). Eating outside was a lil complicated with a water bug showing up. Suggest they spray.

Great location near the Market. Nice rooftop deck with views and great service. Soft shell crab sandwich was good. I just wish the crab was bigger. Loved the oysters and bread that comes with the crab dip.

We really liked the grilled flounder sandwich and the seasoned fries! They were out of their special of gator po boys which was disappointing but the oyster po boy in its place was great. Coleslaw was decent. It was nice to sit outside but with fans and shade!

Appetizers to oysters to main course.. food was excellent. Good oyster choices and each of our meals were excellent. My dad said the calamari Appetizers was the best he's ever had. Atmosphere was very nice and conveniently located next to the market. Red rice was the best I've had so far. Angela was our waitress and super attentive. Great experience

I was walking around the market area and wanted a snack. Stopped in here during happy hour and was very happy with the selection. I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. They gave me a great description of all of the oysters available and they were spot on. The happy hour prices and selection were very reasonable. I snacked on a variety of oysters, firecracker shrimp and hush puppies. Everything tasted great. I will definitely return and have more.
