Pink Cactus in Charleston is a culinary treasure that beautifully complements a day of relaxation and indulgence. Following a blissful massage at The Spa of Charleston, my dining experience at Pink Cactus became the perfect crescendo to a day filled with pampering and sensory delights. From the moment I stepped into Pink Cactus, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and inviting charm. After the serene tranquility of the spa, the vibrant and chic décor of the restaurant added a touch of excitement to the evening. The menu at Pink Cactus continued the journey of sensory pleasure that began at the spa. The meticulously crafted dishes, with their harmonious blend of southwestern and Latin American flavors, offered a tantalizing array of choices. It was a culinary symphony of tastes and textures that resonated with every bite. The service, as always, was impeccable. The staff's attentiveness and genuine enthusiasm enhanced the overall experience. Their recommendations were spot-on, elevating my dining adventure to new heights. Pairing my meal with one of Pink Cactus's imaginative cocktails was the cherry on top. The creative concoctions perfectly complemented the flavors of the food, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. Dining at Pink Cactus after a rejuvenating massage at The Spa of Charleston was a symphony of relaxation, indulgence, and culinary excellence. It's a combination that heightens the senses and allows you to truly savor every moment. If you're seeking a seamless blend of tranquility and exquisite dining, Pink Cactus is the ultimate destination. Prepare to be transported on a sensory journey that leaves you feeling both pampered and satisfied – an experience that's nothing short of exceptional.

We just came from airport and walked from our rental and stumbled upon the Pink Cactus. There was only 1 bartender/server so it did take a longer than we hoped to be seated. The one server/bartender was super. He gave suggestions and entertained all of our questions. The food was legit! It was tasty, and big portions. The chips and guac were just delish. So you definitely got your money's worth here. The inside seating fit 2 large groups of 10 plus a few other 4 tops. The outdoor seating had seating for the masses- but visiting Charleston at end of July was too hot for this New Jersey-an!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at The Pink Cactus in Charleston, South Carolina once again, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience that left me craving for more. This vibrant and lively establishment offers a unique twist on Mexican cuisine, with standout dishes that truly impressed. Let's start with the cheese dip. Oh, what a heavenly creation it was! The cheese dip at The Pink Cactus is a true masterpiece. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, it was the perfect blend of melted cheese, spices, and a hint of tanginess. It was quiet hot so if you are not into spice this may not be for you but I loved it. The dip was served warm, accompanied by a basket of freshly made tortilla chips that were perfectly crisp. Each bite was a delightful explosion of cheesy goodness that left me wanting to lick the bowl clean. It's safe to say that this cheese dip is a must-try for any cheese lover. Moving on to the rice bowl, it was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The Pink Cactus offers a variety of options to customize your rice bowl, and I opted for the grilled chicken with a medley of fresh vegetables. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, perfectly complementing the fluffy rice and vibrant vegetables. The highlight of the bowl was the burst of freshness from the guacamole, which added a creamy and tangy element to the dish. However, I must admit that the portion of guacamole was a bit overwhelming, overpowering the other flavors in the bowl. It would have been better if the guacamole was served in a smaller quantity, allowing the other ingredients to shine through. While the food at The Pink Cactus was exceptional, there were a couple of minor drawbacks that affected the overall experience. Firstly, the EDM music playing in the restaurant was quite loud, making it challenging to have a conversation. The restaurant's hard surfaces amplified the sound, creating a bustling and energetic atmosphere that may not be ideal for those seeking a quieter dining experience. Additionally, the lack of sound-absorbing elements in the restaurant made it difficult to escape the noise. Lastly, they were out of rice the last time that we went s d this time they were out of fish tacos. I totally understand food cost and rationing but I would ensure that you at least have rice. It is grown right there in Charleston. Despite these minor inconveniences, the attentive and friendly service at The Pink Cactus made up for it. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating to special requests, and genuinely passionate. The Pink Cactus in Charleston is a culinary gem that offers a unique and flavorful dining experience. The cheese dip is an absolute must-try, with its heavenly blend of melted cheese and spices. The rice bowl, while delicious, could benefit from a more balanced portion of guacamole. The lively atmosphere and energetic music may not be suitable for those seeking a quieter ambiance. Nevertheless, the exceptional food and attentive service make The Pink Cactus a worthwhile destination for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts.

For sure not a place to skip if you enjoy an intimate setting and have a love of Tequila! Food was perfect, their chips are some of the best I've ever had. Carnitas Enchiladas were amazing, rice and beans were also absolutely perfect. Our server was so sweet and welcoming, will be back soon!!

Fresh, well prepared food. One of my favorite “hidden gem” spots in Charleston. Get the prickly pear margaritas and the enchiladas & you’ll be happy. The service is slow, but can allow for great conversations around the table with your group. The food is worth the wait. Definitely get an appetizer, enjoy some margs and relax while you’re here! This is definitely not the place that tries to get you in and out which is refreshing.

Nice restaurant with outdoor seating with umbrellas. Dog friendly in the outdoor seating area. Service is very slow here. Would not suggest if you are in a rush or have less than two hours for your meal. But the food and drink are very good. The only reason for not giving five stars is the slow service, which was very, very slow.
