Been going here for years and never been disappointed. Such a consistently solid custom sandwich place for lunch. I got a takeaway sandwich for a friend who is visiting from out of town - and he said: "I'd like to think I'm a sandwich guy - and you know, this was an overall excellent sandwich. I think the proportions of each of the ingredients was exceptionally balanced. The bread in particular was well toasted, high quality. I liked that the size of each bread was well sized. Good quality turkey, cheese, perfectly ripe avocados. As a sandwich, nothing slid out of place - it was a very "neat eat." You could say that if I made this sandwich at home, I'd be extremely proud."

We arrived this morning at opening and enjoyed the smoked salmon bagel and a sausage breakfast sandwich. Staff were kind and food was delicious. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped to chat and there seemed to be a lot of regulars. We took a hot Italian sandwich to go. Hours later it was still delightfully delicious when we split it. The shop was neat and had a good variety. Prices were very reasonable. It’s the kind of place you want just around the corner!

Every time I'm in Dupont Circle I have to pass by this place for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast burrito with bacon is delicious and very filling. Also try the Hot Italian, it's one of the best sandwiches in the city. Staff is always friendly and remember me by name. My kids love the environment and employees they are very interactive and friendly!! Love love love this place!!!
