Decided to stop in while walking down H Street on a windy night. Really enjoyed the waiter and staff. Sat in the back where there were a lot of TVs with soccer on. There was a fun crowd too. I would definitely go again!

I got a bauernwurst, bratwurst and knackwurst sausage platter served with sauerkraut, potato pancake and bacon/sweet chili brussel sprouts. My husband got the jägerschnitzel. Everything was absolutely amazing, especially the live music! We even requested a few songs. The starter platters, the spinach artichoke dip and tex mex egg rolls, we're so delicious. The entrees were even better. I will definitely return to this place and 100% recommend to everyone.
This place was awesome! There is plenty of seating (we sat on the rooftop). They have a great beer selection & the food was great. We especially loved the shandys.
If you're craving authentic German beer, this is the place. Just prepare to pay a bit more than what you're used to in Germany. It is imported after all! If you're living in Germany like me and miss that Biergarten vibe, this is the right place! They have a huge outdoor seating that very much exudes those Biergarten vibes. It's a nice place to chill with friends on a hot summer's night or watch the world cup/UEFA European championship!
What a fantastic place for date night. They have Giant steins of kolsch and authentic schnitzel. I was so so happy. I definitely recommend this to everyone.
Great atmosphere, warm fire on the inside if you need, and it only gets better, especially later in the evening.
Went out on a limb looking for some good beer and authentic German food. Thank goodness the Google reviews didn’t disappoint. This place was amazing. And Laurin was a great server. Will definitely come back when the weather’s a little bit warmer.

This place was really nice. The drinks and food were good but the workers really changed the game for me. The customer service was amazing and the workers were super personable. I normally wouldn't bring my 2 year old to a place like this but we were here for a friend's birthday. My son was just being a typical 2 year old and doing the absolute most because he so curious about everything. So he saw Kaylee (I hope i spelled her name right) and he just took to her and wanted to be by her side the whole evening. She was so sweet and kind to my little boy. She walked around with him as busy as she was and my son loved every second he was with her. He is never this friendly with anyone but we could tell she had a good spirit. I really want to thank her for being so patient and sort of giving my husband and I a break from entertaining him. Lol The rest of the staff was amazing i wish I got the names of the others that were working but thank you to them too for being patient with our little boy.
Every thing was so Beautiful the waitress was superb work all the table stay so polite I will be come back to visit. The food oh my goodness. So fresh.
Had an amazing experience for a work party here. The event coordinator was really friendly and easy to work with in getting our large party tables reserved on a Saturday evening. Enjoyed a beautiful day on the rooftop patio where you are able to order drinks and food right there. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Food was delicious and quick to reach our table.
The place. The ambiance. The selection of beer. The bartenders. There's nothing you cannot like about this place. I've been to 3-4 beer places in DC and this is hands down my most favorite one!
