What an amazing place to enjoy authentic Indian Cuisine. The food is packed with flavor and the atmosphere is perfect. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming which makes this place one of the best. Love IT
I have ate here several times & it NEVER disappoints! Their customer service is impeccable, the food is delicious & priced well. You get so much food! I’m plant based and they have plenty of vegan options. My meat eater enjoyed his chicken as well. My apologies no pics it was so good!
Price points are a little high for the portion size but the quality of the food and attentive wait staff made up the difference. We were very happy with the butter chicken and lentil soup, as well as the naan bread. We liked the naan bread so much in fact, we ordered seconds.The dining area is more upscale than expected based on the building's exterior. Wasn't crowded or noisy. Very clean. We spent about $53 for two people.
We were recommended this as a buffet by several people, but fair warning, it's no longer available, which is a shame because I'd heard nothing but good things.
Other than that, I really liked this place. We will probably go again.

Nawab has an amazing ambiance. I absolutely love Nawab at First Colonial in Virginia Beach and the entire staff offers exceptional service and are always very friendly. They truly care about their customers. And the food is so decadent and very delicious. I have been coming here for about 10 plus years now. My friends and family loves this place as well. I highly recommend it if you enjoy Indian cuisine. There is no other Indian cuisine better.
Our favorite place to order Indian cuisine and we've tried many. The vegan/vegetarian dishes are very hearty and delicious. The Gobhi Manchurian is THE BEST we have tasted yet. If you are craving Indian, I highly recommend this restaurant. We frequent here often since it is one of the few places my picky toddler will eat at.
We’ve been going here for several years now. Today I tried the Methi Chicken and it was really good. Staff was very friendly as usual and they have renovated recently and it looks much nicer. I just wish they still did the sunday buffet! Only reason for a 4 star is we ordered naan and raida and the server didnt explain naan already came with raida so we ended up with a whole extra dish..
Definitely tastier than the other Indian restaurant we had in the area. We ordered Spice level 5, and it was tasty spicy, and not overpowering or numbing. We had ordered the lamb kadhai, chicken kozhambu, and garlic naan and were pleased with our order! Would prefer to receive the full naan, and not the cut up portions. A little bit on the pricier side. Had to get ice cream next door to cool out palette lol.
We have eaten many places in Virginia Beach including Orions Rooftop Beccas Coastal grille Etc. Nawab deserves equal rating to all those
Wonderful food and service
My son ordered delivery from this place. Chicken tiki masala, goat curry, naan. Chicken tiki masala was the best I had in years. I ordered medium spicy and it was exactly that:) It was the first time I tried goat meat and it was delicious. Naan was up to standard. Rice was delicious.
