What a great restaurant! The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. They make me a chicken vindaloo that was one of the best I have ever had. Going to make a special trip again soon to dine here again
Its amazing, my favorite restaurant in sonoma. you dont have to love spicy food to eat here either because they offer all of their curry dishes mild medium or spicy. must haves are samosas, veggie momos, pakoras, tikka delicacy, paneer delicacy, mango lassi. mmm soo good. oh and all the curry dishes come with daal soup (amazing) and your choice of basmati rice or naan, get both.
Some of the best Indian food in California. Prices are reasonable ($10 a plate) and everything is fresh. Try the poppadum and raita! Chicken tikki comes out on a sizzling plate. Indoor and outdoor seating. The naan is fresh and warm. Don't miss it!

The food was great, as was the service. We tried the chicken momos, the tandoori platter and the coconut curry with chicken as well as vegetables. All the items were great, as were the chilli chicken and dal. The owners were very nice and accommodating of our party.
I personally was not a fan of the salad - it was a bit sweet and didn’t fit in with the rest of the menu items.
I’ve only been to Sonoma twice and have visited here both times. Totally worth the trip every time! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a fast, quiet sit down with some comfort food. Friendly staff and warm, flavorful dishes. Perfect for a rainy day! I highly recommend the garlic naan, chicken chana masala and the Mismas chicken.
This has been one of my favorite restaurants in Sonoma, ever since I first moved here. The food is delicious and service is outstanding. Atmosphere/ambiance is a delight because it’s like being within a “mini-plaza” near the plaza. The nan bread and papadams are yummy!

The entrance to get to the restaurant is tucked away in an alley away from the main streets, making for a quiet dining experience. Loved everything about this meal from the chutney all the way to my mango lassi. With outdoor dining only allowed, I enjoyed how this place is tucked away in an alley under a shady awning. No foot traffic to bother you or the sun to burn the back of your neck.
Like spicy food but always left wanting more heat at most restaurants? Hot spice level here is delightfully spicy which made me glad I ordered a lassi.
This was also my first time having non-store bought naan. I didn't know how freaking delicious it was! Next time I'm going to try their garlic flavored naan.
