Harvest Moon Cafe

Had dinner here. The food and service was outstanding. I had a lamb ragout with pasta that was very creative and flavorful. My wife had a vegetarian curry that was equally excellent. I’m not easily impressed, I’ve had too many meals at highly rated expensive restaurants that were simply not worth it. This restaurant is reasonably priced, has a great ambiance, and a welcoming staff. It is well with driving to Sonoma to eat here.

If you’re in the Sonoma area or even in Napa, this is a must-go. Honestly, it deserves a Michelin star for their food. I was told a husband and wife own the place, the husband a chef and wife a pastry chef. The food was unbelievable, and the dessert was impeccable! Do not miss this farm to table place, their flavors are mesmerizing with a friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere!

Roche winery recommended we visit this small restaurant on the main square of Sonoma! Great location Only a block from our b&b. The staff and chefs were incredibly nice and welcoming. The ambiance was warm and the aromas in the air when we walked in assured us that our dinner was going to be delicious! The fish and steak were definitely well cooked and perfectly flavored. Crispness on the fish was impressive. They also sent a pumpkin soup to our table that was a little spicy and so so good! Each dish was flavor explosions!

Exceptional food! I loved my rib eye steak, and the rest of my group loved their tuna, lamb chop, and pasta. We split a few salads for the table and we also split a few desserts for the table, all of which were excellent. The service was excellent; very personal and we felt like we were really being taken care of. And the atmosphere was lovely! There were fairy lights, it was just the right temperature outside. We wished that they had a full bar, as some of us were tired of having wine by the time we got here, but the wine we ended up having paired well with our food and it worked out.

Came here on a Saturday night and had a wonderful time. The menu changes daily but is always interesting, local and delicious. They are known for their Ribeye steak but they have great soups, salad, dessert; really everything. The dining room is cozy inside but they have a great back patio (which is covered with heaters in the winter). This is a great spot for a special occasion. Pricey and well worth the money. One of the best spots in downtown Sonoma!
