Delicious experience! My expectations were very well managed when we arrived at this place and I was positively surprised. For a place that far away from Portugal, they absolutely nailed it. I have tried Portuguese cuisine before and when done well, it’s absolutely delicious. This place has an amazing team and management behind it and we (a party of 4) got an amazing meal. Every single dish you see on this review was spot on, well cooked, immaculate presentation and delicious taste (I tried them all from my friends🤪) all delivered with the maximum care and customer service attention. Not that common that I go all the way to Sonoma, but I will make sure that if there next time, I will definitely try this place for dinner. Well done guys!

The food here is spectacular! I was surprised I had not heard of this place, and the attention to detail in the spices and presentation was perfection. The scallops were the best scallops I have had, and I’m very hard to please. The Portuguese stew in this photo was finger licking good. My mom would always tell me you can tell if a restaurant is going to be special, if their homemade bread and soup is good, and their home made bread was! Thank you to the chef who designed this menu, as my dad and I are still licking our chops!

We all loved LaSalette, it was slightly different from some of the Portuguese food we are used to eating in South Africa but excellent! They have a wonderful menu of starters, mains, desserts and Portuguese wines and ports as well as local wines. We had a vino verde, alvarino, Cod Cakes, the Caldo Verde soup, seasonal veggies and Pork & Clams, and topped off a delicious meal with the fruit dessert which had pears poached in port and passion fruit mousse mmmm so delicious. Everything was homemade, the service was top notch (better than the awful service at our so called 5 star hotel), we got lots of little free tasties from the chef, and the setting was so cozy and warm, you can even sit outside on the patio and enjoy their beautiful fairy lit trees.

Did a Dinner of Appetizers. Couldn’t decide on just one or two. Everything was Delicious!! The softest octopus I have ever had … scallops melted in your mouth …sardines nicely charred and flavorful…croquettes soft on inside and crunchy on out …-and heirloom tomato salad was Devine with hummus and olives with balsamic and olive oil. Everything was delicious and service was great !! A must when in Sonoma !!

it was my first time and I was absolutely delighted by the entire meal and overall experience! Starting with the freshly baked bread, amazing Bolinho de Bacalhau, Caldo Verde, Bacalhau as the main entre, a delicious dessert with chocolate mousse, hazelnut ice cream, coffee and a coconut, pineapple and cashew brigadeiro, seriously? everything was amazing and the service professional and perfect! i can’t wait to go back!

I am so glad we went to check this restaurant out and enjoyed the delicious meals. Cute mini crab cake, they were absolutely amazing 🤤. The bread was warm, and butter was just piece and delicious. Charcuterie board 5/5 Tasca board Sao Jorge cheese ,Serrano ham, lingica, and picked vegetables. Feijoada Completa 5/5 Brazilian national dish | stewed beef | pork | smoked sausage | black beans Fish and chips 3.5/5 Ambiance - simple yet beautiful 4.5/5 The little coconut flake dessert was just perfect. Passion fruit and pomegranate sangria 3/5 The sangria tasted more like a flavored water. Disappointed Overall, this is a great little restaurant in the heart of Sonoma Plaza.

Elegant and classy experience!!! We came here to celebrate our anniversary on a Friday night. The staff greeted us kindly and seated us, and brought a complimentary glass of bubbly. Each dish we ordered was top notch... Oysters, scallops, octopus, Branzino, and Caldeirada. The service was so thoughtful. We could not have asked for a better anniversary dinner.
