One of the best breakfast spots in Sonoma County. Nice ambience. Great taste, great plating...charred by almond trees, which give the food a distinct taste. Coming back soon!
Hired a bus for the day and had brunch here with a group of ten.
They gave us a private dinning room. We had a lovely brunch the service was ok and we got in and out with in a hour. Which Gave is more time to visit winery’s.
Beautiful restaurant as part of the hotel. Bone marrow was amazing!
Very enjoyable Friday brunch...bottomless mimosas and great Benedict, pancakes and others...
Amazing restaurant. I have dined at this location multiple times, and they always have a new seasonal menu. I’ve been able to try multiple amazing dishes. The ingredients are all locally sourced and there seems to be a real connection with farm to plate. The service is great and the bartender is extremely friendly. Great wine and beer selection. I recommend trying any of the entrees. I will definitely be back the next visit to Sonoma.
I've been here twice since I live down the street.
First, the good: Great burgers, and the Carneros Benedict is delicious. Friendly service for the most part. Kid-friendly menu available and happy to accomodate special requests. The location is slightly off the beaten track for locals, but it's worth checking out when you're tired of Hopmonk and want to go someplace nicer than The Palms or Black Bear Diner.
Now the bad: the portions are small for the prices for some dishes and both times I arrived, I was left standing around for nearly ten minutes when the place was practically empty, even when I had a reservation! They don't seem to have enough staff and no host or hostess for lunch service. The lunch menu ends at 2, when they offer the limited 2-5PM menu and only seat you at banquettes or outside, so don't leave it too late for lunch.
TL;DR - On the whole, it was a pleasant dining experience both times I went and much better than the typical hotel restaurant. Locals should give it a try!
Great wood oven pizza, unique pork dish with two separate sauces. Short but decent wine by the glass selection. Was a bit empty for a summer night but we were there midweek. Service was excellent.
Impressive food and wine selection. We personally met with the executive chef who is absolutely delightful. They make a point to showcase local ingredients, and even source some items from an onsite garden visible outside the restaurant.
We were married at the hotel that Carneros is associated with and were impressed with the quality of the food - our guests continue to comment on how delicious the meal was.
This was the first place we ate in Sonoma and we probably could have eaten every meal here. It was very good, from the service to the atmosphere, to the dishes we were served, it made all 6 of the people in our group very happy and very excited for the days to come in Sonoma. I had the steak frites which were excellent, it didn't hurt that the frites were covered in truffle oil which forced me to share them with the table. And the butternut squash soup was some of the best I've had anywhere. Unfortunately, it is sometimes hard to get this restaurant on the phone - but don't give up its worth the ordeal to get such a good meal.
Absolutely the most incredible chilaquiles anywhere! Home made tortilla chips and incredibly delicious house made pork. The granola was also outstanding as well as the service. Top Notch!!
