We just finished a staycation at the Saguaro, and visited La Senora three times during our visit, once each day. We never ate a full meal, so this review is based primarily on ambiance, service, and drinks.
Every single bartender and server we encountered was excellent. Quick, super friendly, and knowledgeable. We got into extensive conversations with two of them, one about everything Scottsdale, and the other about all the great foodie restaurants in the area. Each one also knew their drinks, and we were pleasantly surprised to notice they care about crafting good cocktails here. Let's face it, hotel restaurants/bars only have to do the bare minimum and people will still visit out of convenience, so it's always nice when you find a great one.
The decor/vibe is adorable and vibrant, a perfect reflection of the rest of the hotel. We did not sit outside, but there is ample patio seating with a large fire element.
We did order chips and guac, and shishito peppers one of the days, and both were surprisingly excellent. Super fresh! The menu prices for meals were pretty high, but this is a hotel in Scottsdale, after all. They do offer happy hour M-F 3-6 with lots of $5-7 options, and an Industry Mondays promo also. Oh, you can also get pitchers (5 drinks) of ANY cocktail! Salud!
8 outta 10 would drink there again.
However, the Adam Lavigne looking bartender really needs to man up and call a girl when they're vibing and she gives him her number.
In all honesty, the service was great, the drinks were fantastic, and the fundito dip was great! Thanks for a good birthday night, guys!
The food here is the best we have had in Scottsdale. It is fresh, tasty and so nicely presented on the plate (a lot of places in the USA lack nice presentation).
We stayed at the hotel, and came here for breakfast and lunch both days. We recommend this place to everyone!!!! I can’t understand any of the negative reviews.
Thank you for being so kind La Senora, we hope to see you again.
Jason was an amazing bartender when we visited. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and gave us information on local attractions. The drinks were awesome too!
The service was amazing. We only went for a drink but because of how awesome Sasha and Travis were we stayed for 3 hrs and ate amazing food while enjoying a variety of craft drinks.
It was okay. The food was decent and the drinks were good although a little pricey.
The food and service was great but the cost of alcohol was not! $15 for bottom shelf tequila is a little much.
Great food! They prepared an excellent and refreshing take on shrimp tacos, guacamole, & shishito peppers. Exceeded expectations!
Great vintage hotel in the heart of Scottsdale. The lobby and restaurant are stylish and very interesting place to hang out.
Matt is awsome bartender, little expensive but nice atmosphere
