Dear God this was restaurant easily one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I had to go back a few days later. Top mentions are: 1 Get the 8 Course, trust me, 2 The wait staff is incredibly trained, 3 the steak is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, 4 You’re gonna spend money here, but it’s worth it. We were a group of four and spent about $400 each without getting drinks. This easily deserves at least a two star Michelin award.

We have been to this place couple of times. Our experience with service and food quality has been amazing. The waygu A5 beef steak is the most delicious of steaks we ever tasted- super soft , juicy and flavorful. Every time we tried their tasting menu it has been very flavorful. I would definitely recommend my friends and family to this place. I can say that if Michellin raters came here it would be a michellin star place.

Cafe Monarch is an absolute gem in downtown Scottsdale. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are transported into a lush, vintage-inspired world that feels straight out of Old World Europe. The interior design and ambience is truly indescribable - every detail has been carefully curated to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience. My partner and I visited for dinner on a Saturday evening and were immediately greeted by the friendliest host, who showed us to our intimate table for two. The service at Cafe Monarch is incredible - our server was attentive without being overbearing, checking on us frequently but allowing us to enjoy our meal at our own pace. We never felt rushed, even as the restaurant filled up around us. As for the food, perfection is the only word that comes to mind. Every single dish we tried was executed flawlessly, boasting complex flavors and beautiful presentation. We started with the burrata appetizer which was silky and decadent, served with a balsamic reduction that balanced its richness. For our entrees, I savored every bite of the miso glazed salmon while my partner raved about the short rib risotto. From start to finish, Cafe Monarch gave us a dining experience we'll never forget. If you're looking for top-notch service, an unparalleled atmosphere, and food that amounts to edible art, this is the place for you. I cannot recommend Cafe Monarch highly enough for any special occasion or date night. This charming eatery has secured its place as one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Scottsdale.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our 10 year anniversary dinner at Cafe Monarch. We were looking for something intimate and elegant for our special celebration. This place is exactly it! From the minute we walked in to check in they congratulated us. We were sat down at our table with a complimentary glass of champagne for our celebration. We also received our menu with an unexpected custom message on it and got to take home the menus with our name. The food was absolutely amazing! Truly a work of art. The service was phenomenal. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We sat on the back patio with only 2-3 other tables which only had a party of 2 at each table. It was very initiate and romantic as we were hoping for. I got the Surf and Turf for the fourth course and it was the best steak I’ve ever had! It practically melted in my mouth. It’s true when they say you get what you pay for. I would recommend Cafe Monarch again and again!

An experience out of this world. If you want to feel like royalty, this is the place. The restaurant exceeded our expectations, from great service to customized menu, to incredible food. We had the four courses meal to celebrate our annyversary and i could not be any happier. It is a special restaurant that we will continue to visit.

Beautiful place, great food, great service and atmosphere. Perhaps a bit expensive; however, you do get top quality food and service. Very romantic ambiance as well. The staff here is great, everyone is kind and servíciale. We had a great experience celebrating our anniversary. Walking distance from our hotel as well.

Went for a double birthday dinner with brother and his wife at the chefs reserve table. Did not disappoint. Was so much fun. The waiter was very helpful and explained everything. We met the chef and got a picture with him, which was great. Can't pinpoint the best of the eight courses as 6 tied for first. Didn't get the wine pairings, but the wine the waiter recommended for our coursed were fantastic. Highly recommend.
