This place was great! The service was stellar, the atmosphere was nice and dive-y but still refined. They have probably the largest selection of spirits I’ve ever seen in a single establishment, and we even spun the wheel for mystery prizes—which is a steal of a deal at 3 spins for $15 (my first spin, I won a free pizza!) oh, and the food portions are massive!
I’m only here for another week, but I’m going to go out of my way to make sure I visit this place again before we leave!
What a great time at Giligin’s! This is a great dive bar. It was my first time here tonight and I really enjoyed the atmosphere! It was a great place with great prices and they even have an outdoor area you can sit and chill which is always a plus. I loved the Christmas lights and the Christmas theme! The one negative I would say is they didn’t have any Christmas drinks! I thought with all the christmas lights they would have a Christmas seasonal drinks but it was still a great dive bar. I really liked it and had a great time. The staff was really nice and treated me with fast timely service. I will be coming back again!
What a great place with a nice mix of generations. I’m 60 years old and wasn’t sure if I would feel comfortable going in but I’m glad I did. I ordered a specialty drink which was nothing special and too expensive. I would go back with friends and sit outside for one drink again.
A bunch of friends and I stopped in after and event in the area. Loved the festive atmosphere with all the holiday lights. How can you not get in the spirit.
Some of the friends were fascinated with the wheel and bought some spins for shots.
It was trivia night so we all played on sheet of trivia vs all of us having a sheet.
The bartenders and bouncer were nice.
Would totally go back for a drink during the holidays.
Loved everything about this place! From walking up to the front door, the inside decor, the food, happy hour menu, oh and the WHEEL you can spin is so much fun. We will definitely be back. One request--- keep all the lights up all year around, they made our visit and they look awesome.
This was our first time here. Really surprised to see the interior. It was all lit up. They actually serve Geno’s Pizza Rolls, my favorite. The French fry platter was huge! As well as the nachos. Be prepared to share with others. Service was good, I would definitely come here again.
Gilligan's is our favorite dive bar in Arizona. They have a fantastic happy hour and they are dog friendly.
My favorite dive bar in Scottsdale. Cheapest happy hour by far. I really wanna go for trivia on Tuesdays but wish it was online so that I knew the time without calling. It’s Tuesdays at 9 btw!
Giligin’s was a fun, upbeat bar in downtown Scottsdale. Selection is excellent, if you like bourbon or tequila that had more than 50 options available. Great outdoor seating, I would suggest stopping by next time your in Scottsdale!
Great little dive bar in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. We enjoyed the 2 piece fish-and-chips, they replenish your fries for free, while my husband sipped on Whistlepig whiskey.
Music was not turned up so high that you couldn't enjoy a nice conversation.
As a bonus, they were having Trivia night which my husband and I won and received $20 off of our bill!
