This place has impeccable service such delicious food be careful not to order too much. It’s very easy, but so delicious very affordable if you eat all your food, but gets rather pricey, the more food you leave behind.
Make small short orders try it a little here in a little there to keep yourself from overloading
It’s very very good. The set up is all you can eat so by virtue of that - you know it will be a slower serving situation, and it is. That’s okay.

This is an all you can eat sushi spot. You order as you go. Everything is made fresh. They do have some cooked foods like fried rice, fried noodles, soups, egg rolls, and tempura. The cooked stuff does come out in smaller portions however you can order as much as your heart desires! These cooked foods are all included in the all you can eat deal. They’ve got cooked rolls and traditional rolls. There is something for everyone! I love the ambiance. The lights are usually nice and dimmed. Quality food, and good service.
Found this restaurant while driving around near my hotel. I'm always a little hesitant with "all you can eat places" but Akita was awesome!! When you arrive they give you a card and you fill it out and everything is made fresh to order! The sushi, the udon soup, the teriyaki beef... everything was so good and our server was great! When I come back to Arizona, I'm coming back to Akita!
The employees are so wonderful here. We were greeted so warmly, very welcoming atmosphere. Love the lunch menu options, there is a ton to choose from. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and tasty! The portions size are just right so you can try a little bit of everything! I highly recommend coming here and trying it out!
my first to try Akita Sushi and am very impressed. Who can beat that Eat All You Can for a li'l under $20??? Foods are freshly made as you order, sushis are spot on, miso soup is an absolute delight, the beef udon soup I tried is yummo. Their temaki is so filling and tempuras are oh la lah :-) I didn't tried any of their desserts though... no more room ^_^ but I'll definitely will, next time.
Seaweed salad tastes fresh. Shrimp tempura (2 pieces) are fried fresh, maybe because they recently opened, but it’s good. Their edamame, was okay.. salt to taste. Their sushi which comes in 1 pieces each, those are good, although the tuna looks dry. And, it seems it’s been stored long. I DID NOT SEE their EEL anymore, which is why I went. But it’s not in the menu.
I love their White tuna sashimi. None of the rolls scream - wow, the best roll ever, but solid quality and have good amount of fish in them. Service was lacking the last 2 times we went there. Had to wait for almost 10 minutes for the waiter to get me chopsticks. Their White Tune and Salmon sashimi is the reason I keep coming back.
Wonderful! We visited when we were on vacation & enjoyed ourselves. The environment, service, and food were superior to that of what we expected.
Definitely will be visiting when we're back another time! Ps- the ice cream...was amazing!!! The green tea was my favorite! And the mango roll was divine!
Very good sushi (about 70-80% of what we got in Japan) at an amazing value! There are so many choices of appetizers, sushi, udon, soups, etc.
Food: It was very fresh and tasty. Each order is made fresh, so items are delicious and not dry like most buffets.
Service: our waiter was very courteous. Our food was brought out quickly and our waters were filled continuously.
Atmosphere: the dining room is nice, comfortable and there are large booths that can hold 6-8 people easily. The bathroom was clean.
I will definitely return with more friends and family! What more could you want from a very good sushi restaurant that only costs $18.50 for all you can eat? What a bargain!!
