This unpretentious place is not only a great middle eastern influenced bistro, it's a Scottsdale institution. The Scottsdale and Shea location is especially awesome. But you basically can't go wrong with the other locales. Just an extraordinarily well-run fast-casual chain. Whenever I need to be reminded of why I feel in love with Arizona, this is a touchstone.
Just totally love their Hummus and Chicken! You just can’t go wrong at this place! They have amazing salads too! Great service and always have good meals!
A typically pleasant Scottsdale location, with plenty of outdoor seating in a medium to high foot traffic area. The service was very good, although our server seemed to "miss" us a couple times, but they were probably busy. The food was certainly healthy, filling, and tasty. Portions were satisfactory. The menu is extensive and the use of various spices in the soup and pita was noteworthy; not overspiced, but a healthy diversity of ingredients and spices, yielding a fresh experience with each bite. This location does not accept larger bills.
This is my go to place for a good, quick lunch.
When I am in the area and I have a few minutes to spare between my meetings, I stop by for dine in and in some cases, take out and bring the meal home.
My all time favorite is the Philly Chicken Pita. You cannot go wrong with this sandwich.
On this occasion I ordered the Gyro. Tons of meat and lots of flavor. Almost too much to finish.
Pita Jungle is always recommended and the service has always been good. Great atmosphere for something casual. Go alone or bring friends. I've done both. So flavorful and delicious.
If you're really hungry start with the hummus.
Enjoy!
I recently dined at Pita Jungle in Scottsdale, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The first thing that struck me was the generous portion sizes; they definitely don't skimp on servings. The food was not only plentiful but also incredibly tasty. I particularly enjoyed the diverse menu, offering a range of options for various dietary preferences. What truly elevated the dining experience, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Overall, Pita Jungle in Scottsdale exceeded my expectations with its ample portions, delectable dishes, and top-notch service. It's a must-visit for those looking for a satisfying and delightful dining experience.
My favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Scottsdale! The regular hummus and jalapeño hummus topped with marinaded chicken is my favorite. The Greek pitas it comes with are some of the best I’ve had. This location is the original and by far still my favorite!
Food is pretty good, the mashed potatoes are extremely scrumptious. Salmon was good, but it's been better in the past. The service could be a bit friendlier. The key is not to make your customers feel like you're annoying them, when wanting to pick up your to go order.
We really liked this place and it's health conscience, Mediterranean food. Very casual, chic vibe. (Plenty of arm tattoos.) Our waiter was great! He helped narrow down our choices, coming up w California Beach Lavash bowl w tumeric rice and Grilled Chicken Pita. Both entrées were light, fresh & filled w good flavors. Seating outdoors w spray misting for those use to desert dining.
We ordered theme Mediterranean Antipasto plate, it was delicious. He came with two pieces of pizza and everything was so fresh and I think it was made to order. Selena was great and handle our large table with no problem. Love the food, space and employees.
I WOULD RECOMMEND
Went to check out this new venue. I chose a fish special and my husband got chicken and salad. And it was beyond delicious! Everything was fresh and the plating and food quality felt like i was eating at a much fancier type of restaurant. Portions were large for lunch. I enjoyed my meal so much i ended up trying their baklava for dessert (paired with iced coffee from coffee plantation right next door) and it wasnt THE BEST baklava ive had, but it was flaky and full of nuts and hit the baklava spot in my soul. Will be going back & trying much more of their menu!
Update 12/9/2016: Dinner, service was great. However food consistency and presentation are lacking. Mahi with humus looked very sad compared to my original lunch review. See picture of differences.
11/22/2016: Perfect lunch spot. Excellent food and service. Food prepared with care, fresh ingredients and great presentation. Mahi with humus, curry chicken salad both recommended.
The food was really good here, I got the lamb shawarma and was pleased how tasty and tender it was. They were really busy so Im not going to ding them too hard on the service but they finally brought me water as I was getting ready to leave. I'll be back again, it certainly didnt spoil the meal. They could put out some tables and chairs with an awning for outside dining (when the weather isnt too hot) to crown this off.
