This is a very different atmosphere than the Vig at Thompson peak and Bell. However it was really great. The staff was super friendly in the food was very good. We had live music which was a nice addition. The drink service was just a little bit slow but the servers were very very friendly.
Really good happy hour and great margaritas! Love the pretzel with that excellent mustard! Great roasted peppers!! Reminded me of a great common tapa in Spain! Yummy calamari. Lovely Mac and cheese in the kids menu. Great atmosphere, a bit dark around the booths by the bar but other than that! Really recommend! So happy for this location in Scottsdale.
We tried a new place and we’re not disappointed!! Best passion fruit tea!! My husband had veggie burger it was really good I had Mahi tacos didn’t find much Mahi in it but what I could taste seasoned good!! And please try there Salsa!!! Bomb!! Service was great our server was alittle slow!! Wasnt busy I know some people don’t like to be rushed but I like to eat and go!! . But will be back to try some different items!! Brunch menu was limited, so will be back for dinner.
Good food. Queso and chips were great.
If you like spicy and tequila, cheeky little devil is a good cocktail.
The Vig is an eclectic American style restaurant inside the McCormick Ranch shopping center. There's a ton of parking outside, and inside there are plenty of tables which makes it an easy place to eat since there's usually something available. The staff are amazing, our waiter Bob really knew his stuff while being friendly, funny, and helpful in recommending food for our big party. Drinks have a bit of a heavy pour, and portion sizes in general are a very good size, so the prices are spot on to what they should be. The food was delicious, especially the appetizers. I'd recommend the shishito peppers, chips and dip, pretzel (weird choice, I know, but local bread made it fresh and tasty), and the broccolini. For dinner, you cannot go wrong with the Argentinian steak or the short ribs, even the scampi was good. Would highly recommend eating here, but make sure to make a reservation for bigger groups to save time and effort.
We only ate appetizers. The chicken wings were typical bar fair. Not great but, not bad and the pretzel with beer cheese was as good as anywhere else. I really enjoyed my cocktails. Our waiter was attentive and quick. The restaurant is very elegant. I love the vibe. The giant door makes for a nice entrance and the interior is welcoming. I’d definitely go back to try an actual meal.
This place really lived up to my expectations. The ambience, the food, the lighting. It was a perfect place to have a birthday dinner with my friends and my fiancé this year. The wait staff was patient and efficient. The food was hot and fresh and delicious! Whether you’re coming here to celebrate a special event or an intimate dinner I highly recommend this place! I can’t wait to come back here again, maybe on a date next time.
Went to The Vig for an early lunch and had a very flavorful and tender calamari. Perfectly cooked and seasoned.
I had the waygu burger. It was good, but so juicy it leaked on my shirt.
My wife had shrimp and Brussels sprouts. She lived the shrimp, but the Brussels sprouts were different from the last time we were here. She liked them better the old way.
Looking for a quick place to eat lunch close to our hotel on a Sunday, we landed at the Vig. This cozy, wood inlaid eatery was immediately inviting. The large, and I mean large, front door set the stage. We were greeted and offered choice of seating. We choose outdoor, ordered some sandwiches, with some very interesting sides, and away we went on our culinary lunch journey. Excellent food and service.
