It is a special place with special people! Chrisa is amazing! There first restaurant in Phoenix was so cool they encouraged foodies to bring there own wine and the Bruce's of Discount Tire and the John Stiteler's of Sonoma Coutrer, would bring great wines from personal wine cellars. If you were lucky, they just might send a glass a splendid wine to your table! Oh, the '90's when this restaurant was 5 forks across the board, Az Republic food critic. It remains 5 forks or 5 star. That was a great part of the model that someone else should try again.
celebrated my birthday here and had a most amazing time. The food and service are always on point and last night was no different. The duck special was perfect.
Rancho Pinot deserves more than five stars. Every element from the service to food exceeds your expectations. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming from the moment you sit down. They make amazing suggestions not based only off of what is popular but what they personally would pick. The food itself was fantastic from the salads to the lamb fully exceeding your highest expectation. We will definitely be coming back again and making sure we save room for the dessert.
The main courses are amaaaaazing! The fettuccine and Sunday chicken are particularly tasty (see photos). We had to take a few moments of silence to give thanks for the many layers of flavor. Appetizer we tried, duck pate, seemed a little haphazard with many random ingredients (pickled cinnamon cherries 🧐). The pecan square dessert was decent but nothing special; dessert menu seems to be a bit of an after thought. Service is quite good, but could use a little more warmth (and a bit more tact in clearing plates). The servers do clearly take pride in where they work and the chef, which is always good to see. Wine by the glass selections are excellent and fairly priced. ($11 for high quality Chardonnay from burgundy!)
Always an awesome dining experience with the most creative nuances in the dishes. Great people serving the best food and wine! Not so sure about the reliability of the new Tock reservation system. We'll have to see about that over time.
Very inspiring food experience! I observed nothing short of a top tier level of passion put into sourcing ingredients and creating the menu. Delicious cocktails and calibrated wine pairing options to boot.
Also received top notch service from Tony throughout our dinner and really appreciated his recommendations and contribution to our experience.
Absolutely wonderful. Friendly , attentive staff and delicious food. The sea bass was so scrumptious. Left very satisfied and will definitely make this a regular go to spot.This establishment has been around for 27+ years for a reason.
Always amazing. Had the linguini special (lobster and local pink mushrooms) which was awesome. Men had flat iron steak, equally awesome. Friend had gnochi which she loved. Local date cake for dessert. Great service and wine. One of the best places to eat in Phoenix.
We love Rancho Pinot! My husband and I travel to Scottsdale every couple of years and this is our "go to". Charming atmosphere, amazing food, impeccable service. Don't go for the "franchised same old thing". Explore creative genius with small business love of the customer. Thanks again for another amazing meal!

I rate Rancho Pinot as 5 stars not as an example of exquisite culinary perfection, rather, as a truly extraordinary example of consistent delivery of high quality food, with great service, at very reasonable pricing. Every menu option is always right on the mark, without exception. When we hanker for good food in a relaxed, yet highly professional atmosphere, we head to R.P. Upon walking in the front door, we relax and let the chef/owner and her staff take over our evening. We are never disappointed.
Great food and great service! The price point is reasonable and you get good value for the money. Not as loud as other popular restaurants, but if you want to be able to hear, go early.
