Great Italian Delicatessen style restaurant with plenty of unique food items for purchase. Everything has an Italian flair especially the sandwich menu. I had the Italian sausage which was pretty spicy and delicious. Everything I've ordered here has been great! Staff are very helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back!
What an amazing find! We were in the area and needed dinner so we stopped in and found a gem! First the staff is amazing! You order at the counter, they answer all questions, and then they give you a table. The atmosphere is warm and sweet with Italian music playing. Then the best part comes out...the food! Absolutely delicious and authentic! Pasta was petfectly aldente! Highly recommend the burrata salad, rigatoni, and lemon cake!
Awesome place. Old school counter serve Italian. Authentic top-quality food. One of the best restaurants anywhere. I have never had a mediocre dish here and have been coming for at least 10 years. The porchetta sandwich is the best sandwich ever in my opinion. Perfectly seasoned, mouth watering, unique blend of flavors from the first bite to the last, served on a delicious fresh Italian role. I always leave with some of the good stuff: soppressata or prosciutto di parma to go but there are plenty of meat, cheese, Italian specialty, and dessert options to pick from.
I have never had a food experience like that, even in Italy.
First of all, you feel like at home. The atmosfere is incredible, and Giovanni and his guys are wonderful.
And the food!!! It is cooked with love, and you feel it. Most of the ingredients are from Italy, and their combinations in the Giovanni's hands make the magic.
I tried 3 different pasta combinations, the mussels, the "trippa", the hand-made sausages, and the cakes.
But in the future, I want to try the Neapolitan pizzas, the Fiorentina steak, other pasta combinations, the "nduja calabrese" and the "sfogliatella riccia napoletana".
Giovanni loves to rotate the menu frequently, so it is hard to suggest something specifically.
If you want a real Italian experience, this is the right place.
The fresh calamari that's marinated and grilled is awesome. Make sure you have the crusty bread to sop up the olive oil and herbs on the plate. You can throw a dart at almost anything on the menu board and be assured you'll be pleased.
The atmosphere in this tiny restaurant is fantastic. The staff are wonderful and treat you like an old friend. My wife and I shared the Rigatoni with sausage and loved it. We definitely recommend it. They serve the absolute best tarimasu; I would go back just for that.
Cons:
This place is packed with people, and the inside seating can feel a bit cramped.
When I asked for an additional side of bread to eat with my pasta, I was told that they don't offer a side of bread.
Delicious food and pretty consistent every time I go. This time it was a bit busy but seemed to flow easily. The only thing that is inconsistent is the on going rumbles of the table bread you can hear the complains while eating. Some people get it some don’t . Overall a must go to enjoy very authentic Italian dishes.
Shared a great lunch at Andreoli's! First time customer and we will go back. Meals were flavorful and filling. Fantastic experience and we will go back!
Fantastic sandwiches for lunch. Very friendly and attentive service from a staff who cares. We loved the relaxed atmosphere. You could tell many happy regular customers were there. Charming family owned experience that was just exceptional.
Many things have let me down in my life. Andreoli is not one of those. The first time I visited this place was in the spring of 2022. It was just someplace near me that I had never tried, and I was feeling like Italian. One of the best decisions ever. I walked in and immediately noticed the Italian groceries, such as olives, cheese, lunch meat, bread, pasta, and more. I then made my way up to the counter where I placed my order for a sempronio sandwich. The price was quite reasonable for a sandwich and side salad. The service was quick and I dug in to my sandwich. It was great. Fresh bread, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, and some tasty roasted peppers, alongside a salad. Hard to get it wrong, but it was done so well here. I then ordered a slice of cake and an espresso, both of which were heavenly. Some of the best espresso outside of Rome. Since then, I have made numerous visits to Andreoli, ordering many different things off of their extensive and changing menu. Attached are some photos from my visits. Go check them out!
