I wanted to give this 5 stars for the friendly service and delicious hot chicken sandwich. I got #1 Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with the Nashville Hot and #8 dark meat combo (no spice) with mashed potatoes.
The sandwich was great! One piece of tender with coldslaw and pickles in a bun. I gobbled it down in just 4 bites. My complaint is that I wished it was bigger, especially for $8.50.
The dark meat chicken and the sides we're more of a disappointment. The chicken was a bit more oily and small. The mashed potatoes were just ok. The biscuits was a little hard and doesn't seem too fresh.
I would definitely be back for more chicken, but I think it would be more worth it to just buy the 3 chicken tenders combo for $10.50 or $2.50 each.
They are located in the main entrance on the left hand side past smash burger. The chicken strips are delicious and big, I only use the bbq sauce. Be aware that their mild is hot and their hottest is insanely hot! But you can choose no spice to some insane explosive hot. They have a kid menu, multiple different types of sandwiches and entrees. They sell cross cut fries that are delicious. I love their regular bbq sauce. I have also eaten their bacon club its pretty good too. The guys who run it are very nice too. Be prepared to wait a little while sometimes because they cook everything fresh. You can also purchase the tenders in a meal or individually priced; which is, kind of nice if you only want a snack. They also have cinnamon rolls, soda, tea, lemonade, smothered cheesy tenders that look amazing.
I lived in the south most of my life, easily the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. They have found true chicken perfection, Chick Fil A may have made the chicken sandwich, but Rule the Roost perfected it.
Chicken itself seems pretty good, but if you get non-spicy (ie. for kids) then it's surprisingly bland. They have BBQ sauce to dip it in if you like.
Waffle fries reminded me of Chik-Fil-A and when I mentioned that to M he said everything reminded him of Chik-Fil-A but better.
Great chicken but even greater shakes. The root beer shake was just as good as the one I had in Texas at a Whataburger.
"Nashville hot" spice level was perfect and the chicken sandwich was delicious. Loved the lactose free shakes too!
Great quality chicken, really good spot to eat. I believe it’s own operated which would explain why the place is so clean and staff was friendly. Certainly will be back!
