Solid no frills authentic Mexican food. Breakfast burritos are highly recommended and worthy of the effort to get them. They are also huge and well priced as is just about everything else. Expect long lines during the work lunch crowd but they move things along pretty quickly.

When are they open: Senor Jalapeno opens for lunch every weekday to serve the local professionals working in the area.
Establishment: Its a place to grab a quick bite for under $10 per person. The place is small and can fit roughly 20 dine-in patrons. There are seats outside to enjoy your food that is shared with three other food establishments neighboring Senor Jalapeno. However, most people that go here like to grab and go. Most of their meats are precooked like most Mexican fast casual establishments so that means the preparation of your food takes very little time.
Time to go: The lines here move pretty quick and the peak time when this place gets busy is your standard lunch hours of 12 to 1pm. Expect to wait 10 minutes in line before being served during this time.
Recommendations: If you're in a hurry, grab a burrito. If you have time, definitely get the 'Mex Philly' burrito because its made to order. They grill up fresh onions, bell peppers, and pickled jalapenos and put that as a topping in your burrito. It costs a little more, but worth every penny. My favorite protein choice is chipotle chicken. Let me know if you have any questions or recommendation requests.
Rock solid fast Mexican food! The senior jalepeno burrito with grilled chicken is my go to dish for lunch. Line can be long with work crowd but it goes fast. I like their jalepeno lime salsa!
So Yummy! My GoTo place for Breakfast Burritos. Fresh and Hot, and once coupled with the great Salsas and freah Jalapenos they stock, completely mouth watering! And a great price point...
Stopped in to grab lunch to take back to the office. I ordered the flautas with rice and beans. The flautas were a little crisper than I expected but were decently tasty and came with lots of lettuce, Pico de Gallo, sour cream and guacamole which made a nice salad. More food than I expected, too, so in that sense, a good value. If I'm ever back in this area of San Jose I'd go back and try some of the other items.
They have a taco salad that is a bit smaller than what other restaurants have, but the flavor is much better. It's smaller size is better for my health and helps me learn that taste is more important than size.
I like the taco salad with the chipotle salsa and fresh jalapeños. Service always comes with a smile no matter how busy during the lunch rush. They keep the line moving too. Very efficient.

A great alternative for burritos and tacos if the Chipotle nearby is too crowded. Their food is more 'home' style compare to Chipotle commercial style. They have point card system.
The chorizo breakfast burrito was very fresh and quite tasty. And starting the day with tortilla chips is always a good thing.
