Came with friends and family on a weekend. Wasn't too busy. Staff was amicable and service was quick. Nothing too special about this good but overall consistent with great taste and vast menu selection. Meat was tender and fries were cooked in good, clean oil.
Very cozy place, very well decorated. The food is fantastic, and it has great taste 😋 very well recommended. The atmosphere is great. The warm welcome and service top notch. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed 😉
Food is really good, service is good. The reason for lacking one star is their method of serving.
They ask every single customer for their phone number, and text you when you can come and pick up your order. For the high prices they charge they need to bring the meal to your table or don't ask for tips. More importantly, I don't like sharing my phone number out loud in front of other people I don't know...kinda a strange method.
You might get sticker shot on their prices...very large portions help make up for higher than average prices. Which is why I don't understand why they don't bring the meal to your table.
One of the best BBQ places here delicious 😋 I had the tri tip sandwich with potato salad. It was sooo very good 👍 fast service and nice atmosphere.
Pretty decent BBQ. The baby back ribs were good and juicy, but the chicken was a little dry. The hostess was very warm and welcoming. Overall, it was a good experience and would go back.
This review is based on one experience and one meal, so take it as you will. First off, the manager and staff were so nice I felt like I was back home in the south. Secondly, the brisket sandwich was great. The lean brisket was nice and tender. The buns could be a little more toasted for a good element of crunch, but they were still tasty. The original sauce was alright. I’ve had better, but not in california. The classic jalapeño sauce was so good I bought a bottle (which they keep out and handy for purchase). I got the cornbread. Not bad. I also got onion rings, and some of them were a little under fried however they were still very tasty. They have a great batter. Overall it was a pleasant experience as a solo diner and a delicious meal.
Great place to eat solo or with your family. Decent options for draft beers. Do yourself a favor and get the jalapeño sauce.

Great BBQ rib. I was totally full after eating the whole regular BBQ rib. Regular size costs about $20 which is little expensive for usual lunch. There are sandwich selections which cost about $10-12 and they looked great as well.
First time here service was polite and quick. Fair prices, I had the hickery burger with a side salad. Not the best burger in the bay but way better than any fast food chain. I'd give it a shot if you're in the area of one. I personally like The Counter more but this is a close second in terms of higher end chain burger/bbq places
