Very good, solid choice for Japanese shabu shabu. Ordered the large American Kobe beef, because portions are too small otherwise. Tip: don’t get the “lean” Kobe, as it is drier tasting. You need the fat, which boils off a lot anyway, to get the good flavor. Got the spicy miso broth. Tip: sit at the tables, not the counter, if you want to control the pot temperature yourself. Recommend and have been back many times.

Picked the all you can eat and it's good value if you feel like eating a lot under no time restraints. If not, you can pick what you want. If there's a mixed preference within the group and some want the all you can eat and others do not, you can sit at the counter so everyone gets their own pot. They have 5 types of meat, and funnily enough I liked the Angus Prime most. It was funny cos if you choose to only eat that, it's cheaper. I'd recommend an all you can eat of everything just cos otherwise you'd have no variation which is harder to enjoy a lot of. We ate 2 plates of almost everything between 2 people. We got the veggie broth (mild and slightly sweet) and tonkatsu curry broth (moderately spicy). You may want to swap out the entire broth pot after 4-5 plates or so if you're gonna keep going. We ate 8 plates and the curry broth started burning and sticking to the side. Both broths got really oily towards the end and ruined the taste of the meat even with the water that was added. It was inedible past that point. So just ask to fill the broth with water once, and swap it out if you can after that. I added a pic of how the broth changes. The veggies were fresh and yummy. The dipping sauces were nice; though the gomadare sauce was rich for me, I really digged their ponzu sauce. The crab dumplings were not for me (not good, cheap, filling is unrecognisablely mashed crab thingy ick). But a good menu item to exist in case you go with younger children. Staff were professional, our server was friendly and helpful. Food never took too long to come out despite how busy it was. Place has two middle counter areas and a bunch of tables to the walls on each side. Idk what they do when they have a massive group, but they sat a group of 8 at their main large counter when I was dining there. They have a decent bathroom. The person who took me there already eats there with family regularly. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere though it can get loud with a full house.

A nice cozy hot pot place ! The style is combo and you choose a meat, soup based, and rice or noodle. The service is pretty good!

After a large trip exploring the west coast and trying foods from all over - THIS - is the one spot that lingers in my mind as somewhere I would go back to. It was my first Shabu Shabu and it was. Delicious! The meats cut fresh in front of you, amazing broths, the dips are NOT to be underestimated, and the fun variety of vegetables. You can easily split a meat platter for a party of two (add on the veggies) or get your own or go unlimited if super hungry!

The food was so good. As someone who doesn't eat red meat I was very happy with the shrimp dumplings and vegetable options available. I tried both the vegetable broth and the miso broth. The vegetable so far being my favorite. And the staff were really friendly. I'm glad I was able to stop by.

Loved this experience. Took my kids and they loved it as well. High quality proteins from Niman ranch. Servers were every helpful. I remember one of their names, Christine. She was great and talked to us about the process and walked us through what was popular and recommended. Great service Christine. We'll return.

Had a split pot with two soup bases. The pork one was made out of some artificial tonkatsu flavor packet and the spicy miso one was flavored with gochujang. Definitely not a big fan of either. Tried three kinds of meats - The black pork, American Kobe beef and Lamb were all very tender but they were also shaved paper thin. The only reason we could leave feeling full was because of the big bowl of raman they include in the package meal.

I would give them 5 stars if they have lamb today. But they told me that there was no lamb today. I am a little bit disappointed with this since I am the lamb lover. Besides that, everything was good. The size for medium size is enough for me. Come with the order, you can choose rice or ramen. Ramen is good for me and I also highly recommend you to choose ramen. American Kobe beef is good when Kobe beef lean is kind of tough.

This unassuming restaurant has it going on! Five stars for the flavor of the broth, for which we try the spicy curry tonkatsu. Definitely imparts a lot of flavor such that you don't need any dipping sauces! Points are docked because the portions of meat are small in the single order, but at least you do get some vegetables. Notably, they do have an all-you-can-eat option. I'm sure with the right appetite, then getting that would certainly turn it into a five-star venue!

Perfect choice for a cold winter day! Kobe is super fresh and the large slices made it even more tastier! We love doing one side spicy and another side non spicy. The tonkatsu broth is especially flavorful, more than the spicy miso. You can get an extra side veggies for $5 which I think it is a great value. Service is fast a d the staff is very friendly.
