Came here for the first time on Sunday with family. They'd been here before and said it was very good. The food was EXCELLENT!!! We all had the breakfast buffet out on their beautiful patio which had a mix of all kinds of food. The Chorizo and eggs were amazing. The staff was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back!

So first time here and i would say the food is good and tasty i would come back again .me and my wife are both in food industry .so there are little things that they can work on #1 signs with food name would be nice .also teaching the server how to carry trays of plates properly .but food good buffet sundays .$28.99

Great quaint Mexican restaurant with an excellent patio. Dishes are small in size but offer large flavors. The green chilaquiles came with too much cilantro but it could be easily removed. I wish it came with more beans and rice. Our visit was on a Sunday and my fiance chose the buffet. The buffet offered a large selection of food but she raved about the green pozole. She wished it had a tad more hominy. The service was excellent, we were never in need of anything. The best part of the restaurant is the patio. It is spacious and welcoming offering shade and a great breeze. In combination with a Michelada, it was a perfect sedative for a hangover.

Good food. Smaller portions than other authentic Mexican restaurants. Loved the complimentary chips and salsa when dining in. Small interior. Service was ok. Bathrooms were clean. Shredded chicken Nachos were best thing I tasted. I ordered the chilaquiles Rojas but the tortillas weren't crispy and the red sauce was underwhelming. The rice, beans and fried egg are what saved this dish. Overall B average experience. Would like to try another dish next time. 7 mares soup looks good.

Really happy to have discovered Las Cazuelas in the Rose Garden of San Jose - truly a hidden gem! The menu is extensive and since this was my first time, I decided to order two super tacos: chicken and chile verde, both were delicious but loved the chile verde especially because the meat was so flavorful and tender. They serve handmade tortillas here! The tacos were grilled on the outside and the toppings were so fresh - check out those full sized jalapeños! Definitely spicy so try at your own risk hehe

I ordered the Manchaca do with eggs very tasty and prepared right in front of me, salsa and chips before the meal are also very tasty. It does get full because it is so good they have a lot of customers.

Is interesting. My best friend and myself of 34 years came here to have a good time and we had an awesome time. The staff was perfect. Anything we needed they catered to. It's a place you can bring your children and your family it to nice family restaurant

Great tasting food. I had such a great experience here at Las cazuelas. I'm definitely visiting next time. I'm out here in San Jose. Also, I'm recommending this restaurant to all of my friends and family. Anytime that I'm in San Jose I stop at Las cazuelas.

Very good authentic food. They have a nice outdoor seating area and the employees are very friendly. We had a party of 8 and they took us in in less than 5minutes. I do wish the serving portions were a little bigger. But overall I would recommend and definitely visit when in the area again.

I got takeout. Employee was friendly and wearing a mask. My SO said the chicken mole was better than what he had in Mexico City. The salsas and pork tamales were great. The beans DID look a little gray and they weren't that flavorful. I read another review that complained about weird gray-colored beans so I can see what they mean, but the beans WERE edible. Rice was very tasty. I'd order from here again and try to avoid the beans next time.
