If you are looking for a place that is full of flavors, then look no further. The District brand is NOW OPEN in the South Bay! JD, Chris & Ryan have done such a phenomenal job bringing this hot new dining/bar concept into the heart of the Silicon Valley. First, it was SF, then Oakland, and now Downtown San Jose. The wines, beers, whiskeys, small plates and all around vibes have been missing in the San Pedro Square area for some time now. This is going to be the spot for many years to come! The private banquet room that accommodates 100 people is a game changer.
Feeling hungry? Chef Bob Cina has done it again with the menu! I'm getting hungry just writing this review. Cannot wait to head out there again in the coming days! Heck if you there, let them know I sent you =). You will not go wrong with the many options available here!
District San Jose is great for entertainment, business, or even parties! The location is easy to get to with plenty of parking available.
Great $6 happy hour until 6, dog friendly patio, and super friendly and attentive staff! Also, all food we have tried is great!
Bustling hangout spot, with modern decor that has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Menu is comprised of sharable small plates, and we tried several items that were good: hanger steak, scallops, pork belly sliders, and fried chicken sliders. However, the service was suboptimal, as several orders were not processed correctly, utensils were missing, and used plates were not proactively replaced. Parking was easy, but it was a Monday night so not sure what it’s like for a weekend night.
1st visit to District. Aware I give quite a few 4 and 5 star ratings - District is 10-stars in every way... Food was absolutely fabulous, ordered 3 seafood dishes, and they nailed them all! Service also flawless. Chill atmosphere and boom - you get it all!
This is worthy of a return trip! Staff was very polite and responsive. The evening was so beautiful, that we decided dine on the patio. The music made the night fun. We ordered a wine flight to go with our meal which was extremely generous pours. Bonus! The fried avocado could use some spice but was really yummy. My favorite by far was the oysters on a half shell which were fresh. The broccolini salad was everything (must order). I still have dreams about that salad. I would like to come back and try their cocktail menu and would 100% recommend this place to a complete stranger.

Was looking for a late-night place to eat at and this was the only one that got decent restaurant food. I really enjoyed the chicken wings and fries, and their dips are to die for. Actually, I think their food is one of the best ones I've tried. Great accommodating staff. I really like the ambiance and the rustic feel of the place.
The atmosphere is good. The service is good. And the food is really good. I really like it. The only thing is that the food selection is not much.
I would rate their drinks, service and atmosphere at the top. Food is not the best but it’s still fairly decent. All in all, it’s always amazing to be here!
Best happy hour in San José! Oysters, cerviche and draft beer in a cool bar environment. Excellent service from the bar tender!

If you're ever in downtown San Jose and looking for a good place to have a meal then you have to check this place out. The atmosphere is open and the restaurant is nicely decorated. They also have a good selection of bar food which is reasonably priced. First we had the ceviche mixto which was very flavorful and fresh. Then came the grilled steak which was nicely cooked and moist. The burger was also done right. Lastly we had the beignets to end the meal. All of the dishes hit the spot!
If you're also in a mood for a cocktail they have a full bar. While here we ordered classic drinks that weren't on the menu and they were spot on!
Went before a Saturday sharks game. Tables were reservations only. But we were early and the bar is first come first serve so we didn’t have to wait. It was happy hour until 6 so we got most items from that menu. Probably got too much fried items but they were all good. There is a parking garage right across the street. Pay parking in this area.
