Thank you for a perfect Saturday evening. The Hoagie was super amazing.
From the time I walked in, I was welcomed and assisted to choose the best Hoagie. The gentleman at the door and the counter were very polite, and chef is remarkably friendly.
After a short walk home, I ate half the hoagie, rest I ate after smoking the cigar and the 30 and 40 yr old porto. The flavors bursted in my mouth from the first bite. The bread perfectly compliments the meat, all the spices, and the beautiful juices.
I paired the half of the hoagie with a 10 and a 20 yr old Quinta Das Carvalhas. The 10yr old porto made the salt dominant, but the bread equalizes the flavor (maybe next time I will ask for less salt). The 20 yr old porto is the perfect combination, she makes the flavors sweeter and creamy, my tongue savored the flavors and made my mouth water, only wanting more.
Lighting a beautiful Cabaiguan after the hoagie only accentuated the flavors, and enhanced the smoke to perfection, along with a 30 and 40 yr porto and reading an amazing book.
Thank you Hoagie Steak Out for making this one of the best Saturday evenings, I would love to try you rice bowls next.

It is an interesting place to go to. The food looks good.
One of the best restaurants in town 😍
Hoagie felt fresh, steak was real not all was soft some chewie but real non the less. Everything was pretty good. The fries are trash no seasoning, and was fried crispy probably the oil to low. They crisp up the fries and add salt they would have alot going. But hoagies are pretty good especially for a late night bite.
Super good. the steak sandwich had a lot of flavor. Fries have no flavor but they’re good if you put your own salt on it.
The steak was cooked great and seasoned right. The bread was soft but a tad bit too much messing with my personal ideal ratio. Was delicious still end of the day.
Great food near San Jose State University.
Part of a row of restaurants catering to the college crowd, this place offers a combination of several "philly cheese steak" type sandwiches, named after various movies for some reason. And Korean-ish things. I had the "gangnam bowl" which was spicy pork, kim chee, a little salad, and of course white rice. It was good! The kim chee was less spicy than my regular brand so, probably just about right. It had good flavor.
Although this place seems to have almost no presence on Google, it deserves to. There's only so much pizza, "Mexican" and hamburgers/hot dogs you can eat. This place has been in business for years, and is well worth a visit. Prices range from $12-$14 for a large dish, to many snack type things in the $5-$7 range.
I have been going here for 10 years never had a bad sandwich i split them with a friend they are really large or save other half for tomorrow !!!!great price for what you ger.
