It wasn't a place that aimed for specialty coffee, but it seemed to be enough to drink regular coffee. There is a table outside, so I think it's enough place to drink coffee while enjoying the atmosphere of the city. I hope there are many choices of coffee varieties.

I've lived here for over 10 years and have been coming to this coffee spot since before I even moved, while vacationing. I love this place. The people who run it are so kind and so thoughtful, every single time. Coffee is consistent and delicious. I can be a Starbucks girly, I can be a "cup of coffee at a donut shop" girly, but I will always choose Beanery first. 💜

Had a cafe au lait and a pumpkin Bran Muffin. Affordable and good coffee. Great service. Had been to the Botanical garden and needed a coffee break, this one is close by.

Local coffee shop to enjoy a treat, read a book, or do your taxes like the guy sitting next to me while I enjoyed my tea. Great for people watching and has a historic feel to the vibes.

This coffee was PHENOMENAL. Best coffee of my life. I had a double espresso and it was like drinking silk. Kept me feeling focused and buzzed all day but so smooth and not acidy at all. Gorgeous.

A wonderful roastery and coffee shop. Lovely knowledgeable staff. Delicious coffee beans and fresh coffee all day. Right on at least three bus lines and street parking available. Get your beans whole to go so they stay fresh longer. The sumatra is wonderful.

I ordered an oat milk cappuccino which was good. Somehow it seemed to have a watery texture, not quite as creamy as I prefer. I'll have to try some other drinks to get a good idea of their in-house roasted beans.
It's a small cafe...the seating is tight, so we sat outside and enjoyed our beverages while people-watching. 9th Ave is always a bustling little corridor.
The Beanery has a friendly staff and is a great place to grab a cup of coffee to take with you to Golden Gate Park. Check it out!
