We dined in for breakfast around 11am. Wasn’t too busy and the diner looked absolutely beautiful. I loved the old 70s theme. The service was great. Very friendly staff. The car looks so cool :-) I ordered the eggs Benedict, I got ham instead of bacon otherwise it was pretty good. There pancakes are sooo delicious. Was the best out of our meal. I would definitely go back for breakfast again. Prices were pricey but expected in California. Otherwise a great place to dine. Very much enjoyed it.

We found this little gem as we were walking down Sutter and decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful, with oldie music playing in the background. The staff quickly took our order and were very attentive. The food was great but a bit pricey. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu, I'll definitely be back!

Just happened to see this restaurant by chance and we were pleasantly surprised how excellent it was!! The food is delicious, the shakes tasty, deserts too!! Plus the ambiance was sooo diner and we loved it!! With old Edsel and Indian Moto and cool vintage collection of radios and posters, this was a top diner to the max! The service was with a smile and totally quick! The kids loved it just as much as the adults! Great menu of diner items! Can’t wait to go again!!

They closed down during the lockdown and I had forgotten about them. Glad they opened back! One of my go to places for brunch in the Union Square area. Kitschy ambience! Food always hits the spot

I wasn’t looking for food on my stroll of the city but after peeking in and seeing the decor, I decided to give it a try. This place easily earned my 5 stars. Solid breakfast food, reasonably priced, fast friendly service and a great ambiance. Not just a gimmicky throw back restaurant. Glad I stopped by.

My sister and I usually have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory in Macy's, but we decided on Lori's Diner, which is less crowded. Eats and beverage: Grilled chicken cheese quesadilla with a side of salsa, guacamole and sour cream for me. California club house and a side of potato salad for my sister. Two glasses of raspberry iced tea, please. The flour tortilla could have been grilled a little longer to a certain crispness. It was a tad underwhelming. Having the salsa, guacamole and sour cream was good. My sister enjoyed her sandwich and potato salad. The California club was a toasted croissant with turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado. The best part of this diner is the nostalgic setting - music from the 50's and 60's, the jukebox, pinball machines, vending machines, etc., on display. The RCA dog was in the house. Definitely I would return to have lunch at Lori's just to reminisce the childhood memories of the 50's.

Just like being in an episode of Happy Days! Good, simple old fashioned foods, and great service (thanks Peter!). Wander around to see the displays of old radios, motorcycles, posters, collectables. Great location, just 2 blocks up from Union Square on Powell.

We wanted to eat at a specific diner restaurant and we finally found it a Lori’s. Such an authentic atmosphere of a movie like diner! The stuff was dressed with specific costumes, the scenery was just like in the movies with a car inside, a real juke box and red leather benches. Besides this, the food was really good. We had some vegetarian omlettes that exceeded our expectations with their great taste. At the dessert we took a banana split that was delicious. Coffee was so good too! If you want to eat at a diner and you’re in San Francisco this is the place.
