Biriyani King

I didn't know there was a biryani place in San Diego until a friend took me here. The biryani definitely lives up to its name. It's not overtly spicy (I would definitely prefer spicier) but it's delicious. The chicken was well cooked, seasoned and marinated. The raita and saag accompanying balanced out the flavours well. The portion size is definitely larger than what the vessel represented. Its enough for 2 people with a starter. We also chose chicken 65 for a starter. That was too fried. I like my chicken 65 to be a little bit softer. The Chutney made it better for sure. Not as oily as I'd thought either. Just fry it a little while shorter next time. It's an ok place to sit in and enjoy - basic Indian restaurant feel.

I wish Google allowed negative stars. Worst restaurant ever. I ordered veg Manchuria and they gave me something out of my imagination. You won't believe they have put veg pakoda in schezwan sauce. For Malai koftha they have added kadai veggies in the sauce. The naan was half cooked. I highly doubt if the chef/management have a sense on how these indian dishes are cooked.

Gave a try after long time for delivery. Worst food ever!! Spicy goat curry - Don’t dare to try this. Naan is uncooked. For biryani, Price & quantity is no where!! Overly priced scam. Folks, Please be aware of this restaurant . I am not coming back, gonna go to either Charminar or paradise.Worst experience ever. Folks, be aware of this restaurant. Note: Don’t get fooled by name “Biryani king” or “Biryani Factory”.

For a $13 meal I expected better food they berely gave me chicken and too much rice at least I didn’t get sick after eating here but they did ruin my takeout dinner and I had to go back out and buy more food. You can find better Indian food options in this area. They still use styrofoam box for takeout which is illegal
