These local guys were unbelievable. Jan 3 we were in town and needed to cater food for 15 folks. Although the New Year weekend cleaned them out of food, they still accommodated our double order.
The food feed our son’s co-workers, some from Hawaii. They were so appreciative Mahalo all.
Good spot for island comfort food. The BBQ is always tasty, and the Filipino sausage musubi served here is a family favorite (local take on the claddic spam musubi using longinisa instead of spam). The fact that they gave us water cups to use while we waited in order to have something to sip on was a vey nice touch. The bench along the wall needs to be re-upholstered, but otherwise thr place appeared well kept. The restroom is coin-op here, and parking can be a bit tricky as the lot is small and it is normally busy due to the Starbucks and Panda Express drive-throughs, but these are minor things if you are looking for a good Hawaiian BBQ spot close to the 32nd St. Naval Base.
