Great spot for steak, lunch, or dinner. Menu is full of tasty options, from salads to oysters. Service is fast, friendly, and well prepared to explain the many options and combinations. Bread is outstanding as well as desserts. Bar has every drink you can think of, and the quality of drinks is good. Prices are reasonable and comparable to nearby steakhouses. There are plenty of parking options in the area when there are no events at the convention center or pet control park. Will definitely be returning.

Indulging in the culinary delights at this steakhouse was an absolute pleasure. The ambiance exudes sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The star of the show, undoubtedly, was the perfectly cooked steak—juicy, flavorful, and expertly seasoned. The menu showcased a variety of cuts, each a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality. Accompanying sides and sauces complemented the main course impeccably, creating a symphony of flavors on the palate. The attentive staff added to the overall charm, providing impeccable service without being intrusive. Whether you're a steak enthusiast or a connoisseur of fine dining, this steakhouse is a must-visit, promising an evening of culinary delight that will linger in your memory.

Are you incredibly picky and have high standards for excellence with your drinks, food, and service? Me too! I ordered my “vodka sour” which isn’t exactly on menu but it was absolutely perfect! Outstanding selection of wines, which paired so well with my filet, which was the most mouthwatering fabulous prime filet I’ve ever had! We had impeccable service from Lynn, our waiter, and the place is on 5th Avenue right by the convention center with a really nice decor, like an old school steakhouse vibe. I would absolutely highly recommend this place and the waiter. We can’t wait to come back! Yummy!!!

I have been to a few top steak houses in the country and this place is next to none! My husband and I went there for my birthday after not having been here for 3 years and it is still amazing! We shared the 38oz porterhouse and it was cooked to perfection!! I can't recommend this place enough.

Absolutely amazing!! The food here is phenomenal. Libby, our server, was super knowledgable and gave us perfect recommendations!! We had a prime ribeye cooked to perfection, oysters that melted in your mouth, artichokes, mashed potatoes and topped our dinner off with an exquisite rustic apple tart!! Highly recommend this spot!!

This place was amazing. We went on a Monday night around 730, so seats in all areas were available. Appetizers: crab cake (easiest one of the best we have had in San Diego) and calamari, which was also delicious. Dinner: filet with bernaise and a ribeye with the horseradish sauce. The steaks were absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly, and that horseradish sauce was so good, I asked for some to go with the leftovers. The asparagus was awesome, but the mashed potatoes, not so much. To us, they tasted as if some cleaner got into the mix. However, the waitress was kind and took it off the bill. Drinks: Blue moon and the One If by Land. Very good. Dessert: Cheescake with strawberry sauce and whip cream. The cheescake was delicious, but the whip cream really made it something else. We got a little extra of that to go, too. Overall, fantastic night. Leftovers reheated well (aside from the calamari, which is never any good microwaved, but I tried). I cannot wait to try theor lunch menu, soon.

Service was fantastic. I felt a migraine coming on and our server, Libby, checked in periodically through the night to see if I was okay. Very empathetic. Her recommendations were spot on. We got the goat cheese, sea bass, ribeye, mushrooms, mashed potatoes and apple tart. All were fantastic and solid sizes! The only downside is that the patio can be a little smelly at times

We dined at Lou & Mickey’s for lunch on our first day in San Diego. It is a beautiful restaurant in a great location and the food is outstanding. Bartender Michael served an excellent Fifth Avenue cocktail, which features muddled strawberries and basil with vodka and lemon. We understand it is a favorite of patrons. The Prime Beef Dip is not to be missed. We enjoyed Lou & Mickey’s so much we returned for lunch and dinner! The burger & fries at lunch were great. Dinner included the Barrel Cut Filet Mignon and the Prime Sirloin Open-Faced Steak Sandwich and the perfectly baked Baked Potato. The service was excellent, not rushed and very professional. We were glad we selected Lou & Mickey's for a business dinner with a colleague, who was very impressed.

If you are craving steak this is the place for you! My friends a ribeye and I had the filet mignon. The steaks were aged to perfection and cooked just as ordered with amazing seasoning. The broccolini was very good. The atmosphere was lovely and our staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be returning on our next trip.

Cool, old school steakhouse vibe. The Dry Aging Room is impressive to see. Went for lunch with colleagues and the food was excellent all around. It’s right across the street from the convention center and an easy walk if on a break. French Onion was great with strong depth of flavor. 90 Day Aged NY Strip was tender. Recommend for a good meal.
