For as long as we lived on the north east side of town. You wouldn’t know this restaurant existed unless you passed by. They have specials Monday thru Friday. $8.46 a special with a tea included. The food was great, and fresh. Tortillas were homemade, the bean and cheese tacos are big compared to other places I have been too. Personally I would of like the pancakes more fluffy , but they were still delicious. The staff was so nice didn’t have any problems and we did not have to wait long for our food . I will be returning.

Was My first visit. Huevos Rancheros with bacon. Very big presentable plate..that was nice. The flour tortillas...omg. worth the hype. ( If you google "best tortillas in SA, Fidrlos turns up.). the corn tortillas were handmade as well. Everything better than expected.

"BEST TORTILLAS IN SAN ANTONIO!"... there, I said it, convince me otherwise. . At least in the two years I've been here.🤷‍♂️ So fluffy, light, and thick without being too doughy..really good! Now on to the SUPER FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE... I love being at places where Ifeel like I'm the only one who's not a regular. I mean this place is like the San Antonio version of the show Cheers, everybody knew everyone's name, and if they didn't, they were going to when they left. That being said, my waitress never came back to my table 😅 but to be honest, Iwas fine with the huge glass of water I ordered, I was set. They have a great menu with everyone's favorites, and I was extremely pleased to find another place offering Puerco en Salsa Roja on the menu! It was tasty and made even better when using the flour tortillas to sop up the sauce! They offer FREE CHIPS N TASTY SALA and everything is served on scorching hot plates which keeps your food hot and enjoyable. Unfortunately, for me, the rice was just not tasty at all, and the beans kinda blah. It's only the 2nd time I wasn't able to eat Mexican rice (the other at Henry's PT). Hopefully, it was just an off day. The enchiladas were on point though, and so I had plenty to eat! Ultra cheesy with a great sauce. All in all I will gladly forgive the rice to come back to this hidden gem that caught my eye while driving down Nacogdoches. Very glad I stopped in! I'll be even happier when I return!

Fresh homemade tortillas. They're thick also, so they don't fall apart. Prices are decent. Maybe even cheaper than some other comparable restaurants in the same area. The food is really good and fresh. Seating is a little limited and close. If you're someone who takes food to go when you dine in, they do charge for all to go containers. So be sure to ask for your drink, especially in a to go cup if you're sitting down to eat.

Someone told me about this place. , wow flour tortillas was so good with fresh made better than machine rolling, I been there at thousand oak cafe , but Cafe Fidelio made. So good with salsa with huevos rancheros, I will look forward this week on lunch plates.

This is now one of my new favorite restaurants. Everything is homemade and you can taste the difference. My favorite is the puffy tacos they are actually fresh and crispy. I have been back several times already and bring someone new with me all the time

The best tortillas I've had in SA. Friendly and attentive service. Machacado plate was on point. I drive by occasionally, but never stop in because the parking lot always looks packed. I finally decided to stop today. Glad I did. I'll it was busy, the parking lot makes it look busy than it is Orale!
