Applebee's

If I were a guest at the hotel next door, the 2 pool tables and Applebee's bar would have kept me out past my bedtime!! If I was "on the make" as a bachelor, I would have had to do it in a restaurant dressed up like my basement rec room. However, the service matched the food, meaning they were both outstanding. The portions seemed small primarily because everything tasted so good, and I wanted more. I ordered the steak/shrimp meal, and it was cooked fresh and with a great flavor!!

Kayla was amazing, The best bartender I’ve ever met, She sets the perfect example for the Applebees enterprise. She has the best smile and the best personality you will ever ran into, Please promote her to management asap cause that’s where she belongs,I would definitely give her 10 stars if I could. Kayla keep doing your big one! Your amazing.

Traveled 5 hours to San Antonio and the Applebees here is delicious, but what stand out is the service Amber gave us, she brilliant, outstanding, and amazing! Always smiling! She treated us like family and we felt like home. Thank you for being awesome! God bless you. I’ll be returning soon, highly recommend!!!

Tommy, Alexis, Conner and Landyn go above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. The patronage is like family. Truly grateful for a place that I can come watch a football game with friends. Definitely recommend this Applebee's for sure 👌. I have cerebral palsy and never once felt that I was treated differently. I am very grateful for a place that is positive to spend time in with a smile.

The bar was super busy. This was a Friday night, so maybe that's expected, but I rarely see an Applebee's bar that hoppin. The food was good, but I have some notes, and the service was great. The buffalo wings were well sauces, which was awesome. But one of them didn't seem cooked fully, or it was a lot of fat. Either way, a bit of a downer. The rest was great though. Chicken Penne was well made, steak was good, the salads were nothing but Texas-sized. You know how everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas. Definitely here. You could have fed a person on just a salad. Overall good experience. Server was helpful and pleasant. Note: the 2 for $20 and $25 is now 2 for $25, $28, and $32. Stinks that the Bourbon Street Chicken was in $32 category. But at least it was well made. Good location, would recommend coming back.

The food here is classic Applebees. Nothing spectacular, just comfort EXCEPT for the mini cinnamon rolls. Fantastic (and they should come with a warning because they are so so so good). I had a date nite daiquiri (beautiful - check out the pic) and a chicken bowl. Hubby had all you can eat shrimp. Both were good enough that we would order again. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. It’s a bar so the ambiance is full of energy … nothing quiet here folks!
