Cheesy Jane's

We stopped for dinner here before heading to the Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas lights. The atmosphere is that of a diner with brightly painted walls and red vinyl chairs and booths. The service was great and we didn't have to wait long before getting our food. We both had the bacon cheeseburgers which were really good and juicy. They had thick slices of crisp bacon on the burgers. I ordered a large size of tots, which were way more than enough to share with my husband. The menu had a long list different flavored shakes, but I'll have to try one on another visit. The parking lot is pretty small, but when we were leaving we saw another large lot across the street.

Great food, no one else was there so everything was fast. Food and service were great, we shared a 1 lb burger and fries. I was very impressed with the food. Had we not been sharing, it would have been just too expensive which is why I only give it 4 stars. $12-$13 for a burger that does not come with a side is just a lot of money. Is it too much for the quality of food? That depends on you! For us, I can only justify the price if we shared a burger. If we each wanted a different burger and fries, I would go somewhere else with lower prices. But if you got the money, the food was top notch and we left very happy

Abel, our server at the restaurant, truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional. Our party was quite sizable, and handling a large table can often be a daunting task. However, Abel handled it with grace and professionalism, making sure that each one of us felt attended to. One of the standout aspects of Abel's service was his ability to efficiently split the checks. With a table full of people ordering different dishes and drinks, this can sometimes become a complicated process. However, Abel managed it seamlessly, ensuring that everyone received their correct bill without any confusion or delays. Furthermore, Abel's attentiveness to our needs was remarkable. He kept a watchful eye on our drinks, ensuring that no glass was ever left empty. This attention to detail added to the overall enjoyment of our evening, as we didn't have to worry about flagging down a server for refills. Overall, Abel's exceptional service significantly enhanced our dining experience. He made us feel valued and well taken care of throughout the evening. His professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor contributed to making our time at the restaurant truly enjoyable. We would gladly return, knowing that we'd be in great hands with Abel as our server.

One of the best burgers I've had!! Also got a strawberry banana shake that was delicious! The service was great and we didn't have much of a wait since it wasn't too busy. Husband got the cheese fries and loved them, I got tater tots that were crispy and delicious! We will definitely be coming back every time we are in town!!

A neat little diner, really close to the zoo! The 50's theme decor was fun, and the burgers were delicious! My wife and I both had the Big Dill Burger and loved it. We were too full to try the shakes and malts, but the people next to us got them and sucked them down like they needed them to live! Our waitress was a friendly college student who checked on us regularly and made sure we had anything we needed. We will be back the next time we visit the zoo!
