During a cross country adventure, my daughter and I decided to stop at Cali Burger based on pictures I saw online. Whew wee! Awesome burgers and fries. I had the pastrami cheese burger and it was piled high! What a great deal for the price!
We took our meals to go and ate them at Temple Square conference center. Perfect lunch in a perfect spot.
So clean & staff was very friendly. We had Philly cheese steak, onion rings, potato wedges & pastrami burger. If you can finish the massive amount of food they give you, I’m impressed! So so good!!!
California Burgers & Deli has all the feels of a classic diner. The selling point for me is that everything tastes fresh – from the meat and produce to the fries and milkshakes. I got the double burger with fries and an Oreo milkshake. I'm still craving the burger. The service was friendly and fast. Overall, I had a great experience and will be coming back time and time again.
What a surprise to find delicious, healthy food options. I’m not a burger eater, but the Chicken Teriyaki bowl is amazing. It takes a minute because the chicken is grilled while you wait and it comes with fresh steamed cabbage, carrots and broccoli on brown (or white)rice with a delicious teriyaki sauce. Healthy and so good.
Enjoyed eating here with family, love the flavor burst ice cream served, especially during summertime, always friendly service.
Yummy tasting fried mushrooms were seasoned perfectly, the sweet potato fries done very well. As for the burger and Philly cheese steak sandwich, it got eaten before I could post pictures - we were hungry.
I love cali burger , best burgers in town. it’s been my favorite since high school! My only complaint is the last few times I have came to get a to go order my fries have been way too salty

If u want a good burger I would stop in here. The service is great. They have yummy fries and u get a enough fries to share with someone else. They make Delicious smoothies. Lots of ice cream flavor to pick from. I have tried this place over 10 times and my favorite thing has now changed from the bacon burger to the teriyaki bowl.

We were in the area for an event at the Delta Center and planned on picking up lunch before at Crown Burger. Crown Burger was impossibly crowded, so we looked on Google maps for alternatives and California Burgers was only a block or so away, so we bailed on Crown to give it a try. We are so glad we did.
The food was delicious (our group of 7 tried the pastrami burger, double, jalapeno, kids burger and Chicken nuggets, all upgraded to meals with fries and drinks.).
The "Only ONE FREE REFILL!" Sign on the drink machine was a bit off putting, but everything else was great. The fries were particularly delicious. Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside.
The burgers we tried, were good, and we barely tapped the menu.
If we are in the area again, we will certainly skip Crown and go directly here instead.

A better burger experience than can be had at most burger chains, detracted mainly by a long wait.
We visited outside of peak lunch hours on a saturday. There were hardly any cars in the drive through, so I thought it would be a quick experience. The menu has a lot of good options, and I've seen rave reviews of the salads and such. I chose to try a bulgogi burger combo and swap the drink for a pineapple smoothie. The prices are fair.
The ordertaker was very hard to hear, so I guessed my way through ordering. We then waited for almost 25 minutes for our food in the drive through. The cashier was very friendly and quick.
My food held up well to a 15 minute drive. The burger was delicious, it had a bulgogi-esque taste that really made it stand out. The fries were mediocre. The onion rings (which were a welcome surprise, I thought I was just getting fries) were pretty good. The fry sauce was unique, with a kind of smoky taste. The pineapple smoothie was delicious, definitely the best part! The food more than made up for the ordering experience, though be ready for slow fast food if you visit.
