Great experience. Food is not too spicy for Uthans. Price is amazing. Eat with your hands and share family style. Pictured below is the ultimate platter for two.
First time eating Ethiopian food, DELICIOUS! Healthy and simple food, well prepared and wonderful smiling service :) Feels good to eat out and eat REAL food!
Absolutely delicious and unique. It was an experience that the whole family enjoyed. We got the family combination platter. Just the right amount of spice, and the wrap was fantastic. The flavors were amazing. It was a large amount of food -- that we just kept eating, even though we were full because it was THAT good. We still couldn't finish it all.
The owner/cook was helpful and friendly. She explained everything well and helped guide us towards what she thought we'd enjoy the most. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had. If I could give it more stars, I would.
Very very good food! I've never had anything I knew to be Ethiopian or African style dishes. It was awesome. A group of us shared the combo meal and the different items were FABULOUS. The beef was lean and tender, the lentils were spicy and awesome. I don't like veggies all that much but even the vegetable dishes were good. You don't have to be overly adventurous to try this place. You just need to go...you WILL enjoy it thoroughly.
Wonderful food and I love supporting a local business! I ordered the veggie combo and it was full of flavor. Everything in the combo was delicious together, and I love eating with my hands! I recommend this place, it's a real gem. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy. The owner is quite helpful and friendly. I'm definitely going to bring my friends here. One of the best restaurants I've been to in Utah; try it, because if you don't, you're missing out.
Service was great. Food was good and presented like in Ethiopia. My husband and I took our time enjoying the meal. Not once did we feel rushed to leave. The bill was not brought until we asked for it.
It is not fancy but great food and service.
I’ve been here a lot over the years and each time I swear it becomes magically more delicious. Usually my cousins and I split the large family platter (I think it says it serves 3-4 people, but we usually do 2-3). The first time I went the spongy sourdough bread (injera) was unlike anything I’d ever had and I didn’t really like it, but it grew on me quickly and now this is one of my very favorite foods. It takes time to get your order as I’ve never seen more than 2 people working the kitchen at a time, but the wait is totally worth it. This restaurant has the kindest people and the most delicious food.
First time in Utah and I stopped by for lunch to try something different. I'm a spontaneous food enthusiast (if there is such a title). I can't remember the woman's name but she was absolutely amazing and recommended I try the Combo dish and I must say it was really good. Spicy just the way I like it.
Tried this place for the first time the other day. Was amazed at how nice it was inside. Everything was well cared for and they put a lot of effort into making the restaurant feel authentic.
The food was new to me, but it was fantastic. A real family dining experience you certainly can't get at IHOP. Don't even worry about trying new food here. It's all good!
Incredible food! We ordered the family platter for the two of us, and it was more than enough. After stuffing ourselves, we still had plenty to take home. It was cozy, and the staff was very friendly. Will be going again!
