Visited today for the first time in a few years and it is awesome to see that nothing has changed in the quality of service and product they offer. You need to visit this place. The ice cream is delicious. The chocolate is amazing. You will not be disappointed. I will post more photos the next time I am in.
This place is always busy and packed, but it is an experience that is worth it. The staff is wonderful and fast and always willing to help and make anything you want as long as it is on hand. Amazing delicious chocolate and their hot chocolate is amazing and delicious. Definitely a must have.

I can't believe that I have not reviewed this place yet. This place is a must visit. We always let our friends know of this place, and take guests here when they come to visit from other places not nearby.
We love their hot chocolate. We come from Sandy just for that. It's a thicker chocolate, and it tastes so good. We get cravings for it all of the time.
Their minature chocolates are great too. They have a wide assortment of them. We usually grab a few pieces whenever we have something to celebrate.
They also have these chocolate pie thingys that are real good. I would highly recommend those. Sorry I do not remember the name. They are in small pie tins. They are a must.
The owners are really nice. As an example, my boy wanted two flavors for a single scoop of ice cream. I was going to let my boy know they would need to do two scoops, and for now we are only doing one. The owner said his scooper was super talented, and he got two flavors with the size of one scoop. My boy was so thrilled.
The rest of the staff is great too. They always have smiles, and are always willing to help out. They are also consistent with the quality of the food like the hot chocolate. We have never had a bad time.
I would highly recommend this place. The chocolates are great for yourself, family, or whenever you need to give a thoughtful gift.
The absolute best Hot Chocolate drinks ever. The Chocolate flavor is so good you just want to go back for more and more. This is a place where if you lived close you would like be there everyday for your Chocolate fix! Good thing I live 800 miles away.
The hot chocolate is like drinking a chocolate candy bar. Worthy. I'm excited to return and try other things.

As a kid I always wanted to drink melted chocolate. This desire came mostly from melted Hershey’s bars; the ones I’d accidentally leave in my parent’s car during the summertime’s blistering heat. I’d pick up the package and it’d slag and droop under the weight of such distilled decadence. As kids do, I’d entertain myself by flipping the rectangle back and forth; it’d slosh the pure liquid fat and sugar around, and I’d think to myself: "what’d it taste like if, right now, I guzzled it like water?" But alas I never did such a thing, as I knew better than to provoke the wrath of my parents for such an activity would make one fine mess.
I was very apprehensive about trying the hot chocolate here because I’ve never been a hot chocolate fan. I’ve hated everything from Swiss Miss, to hot chocolate from vendors, to even to a simple homemade hot chocolate of milk, sugar, and coco powder. Every time the flavor is nothing more than hot water and a hint of chocolate, quite disgusting if you ask me. Sure the hot chocolate reviews here are stellar, but reviews have failed me before. I was not disappointed! ❤️
Hatch Family Chocolates serves up some of the best hot chocolate I have ever had! It’s like my childhood fantasy has come to life but better! Their hot chocolate truly is like a cup of pure liquid chocolate. 😁 Thank you for making such a magnificent treat for visitors, you’ve earned yourself a life long customer.
how have i never been here before ?? the affogato was pretty good, but i loved my friends frozen hot chocolate more. i also got some gummy worms in chocolate, the peanut butter truffle, and the mint cream. all super yummy !! definitely telling people to come here whenever they’re in town.
This place is the absolute bomb. The owners and staff are always so fun and helpful! I got the homemade chocolates for Valentine’s Day and they were phenomenal my girlfriend loved them. My girlfriend and I always get double scooped Sundae’s and every time we say it’s our favorite spot in Salt Lake to get dessert. Hands down best ice-cream and sweet treats I’ve ever had!
I got a milk chocolate caramel apple, and I'll def be coming back. All of the components were individually good. The apple was crisp, and the chocolate and caramel were both smooth and creamy. The individual quality makes the final product that much better.
