Great place with great food always, great Sunday breakfast place staff has been the same for a very long time rarely turnover. Prices won't kill your wallet and portions are generous
This place has the best Greek food ever!! The owner and all of the staff are wonderful too!!
I can't think, the last time we had this great of service. We had 4 servers constantly checking on us. This made a great experience. The food was quite appetizing. The wait was not terribly long for how busy they were. The menu was not overburdened with choices but enough to satisfy most. The ambiance was quite exhilerating. the atmosphere just had such a small town vibe. I rate this place, as a must visit.
I would definitely recommend this place, it is 20/10. The food is delicious and well priced, and it has generous portions. Also, it is accessible and kid friendly. The climate is good, and the place is nice and fancy but also welcoming at the same time. The service is very, very good and all the staff are quite welcoming and make you feel at home. If you go, make sure to ask for the waiter Ron, he is an amazing waiter and is very friendly. I hope you check this place out because if you don’t you will definitely miss out.

I had an incredible time last night with my family here, our servers handled our very large group with perfection.
They planned a way to make it work for themselves and us. They had a young man serving and refilling drinks and 3 other waitresses taking orders from our tables. I'd love to thank each of them for making our night manageable and allowing our family to enjoy our time out. I unfortunately didn't catch any of their names in the slight chaos of things but I know what they look like so bare with me here...
The first young lady to sit us was an average height, she was in all black and had adorable little curls in her hair. She was also wearing a face mask.
The second young lady had the cutest glasses and the sweetest rosy cheeks 😍. Her hair was brown and she had it pulled back. Big thank you to her for bringing us cheesecake on plates only for us to ask to put them in boxes, so sorry about that dear🥲 I had tried to run after you but you were in the kitchen already.
The third young lady put off a very independent vibe and something about her screamed strong and fierce to me, she also had brown hair pulled up but she wasn't wearing glasses and she seemed to be a manager or team leader, certainly gave the vibe how tall she stood and confident she presented things.
The young man serving and refilling drinks was on the taller side and he was in a light blue shirt, I want to thank him as well he was on top of everyone's drinks, we couldn't be more satisfied with our care here.

The mezedakia with lamb chops and the white sauce hands down the best Greek food I have ever tasted. The service is amazing as well. As for the atmosphere goes it isn’t very fancy but it is calming, cozy, friendly and very clean. I will be coming back here for years to come. The Other Place you are the best!
Went in for a quick breakfast (we were there for less than an hour). The employees were efficient and did a little of everything: hosting, serving, cleaning etc. The menu was big. We only had the breakfast and a side Greek salad. It’s very homey breakfast food. The portion sizes were big so it was a good value. The food could use a little more flavor. The restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Lots of seating. We would definitely come back to try the lunch or dinner. The Greek selections looked good. Knocked down a star for flavor and dirty drink ware.
The Other Place Restaurant has been around since the 80s and I am just trying them out. They were really good, great service and a nice menu.
Fantastic find for classic Greek food and breakfast. Service was great and friendly. Food was high quality and large portions. Great variety to choose from. Definitely recommend.

The Other Place is the pinnacle of nostalgia for me. Greek diners are such a staple in Salt Lake, but none of them hold a candle to this place. The menu is so cool and varied. Everything is so consistent and delicious. And there’s a ridiculous amount of food for a small amount of cash. It’s just a perfect mash up of factors to create a great experience. I remember getting breakfast here with my dad over 20 years ago. It’s the same as it was back then, just a great throwback with comfort classics.
Ate at The Other Place for the first time. Lydia was our waitress and she did an excellent job answering our questions and explaining about different dishes we were interested in. The whole experience was very fun. The food was plentiful, and yummy. Definitely will be returning!!!
