BBQ sauces were pretty good. I especially liked the Carolina Gold. The original was pretty sweet on its own so the sweet was like a BBQ syrup. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were decent as well. The roll is Hawaiian style but a little denser. The fries were somewhat hard and not worth getting.
All I can say is that meat and sweet sauce are amazing. The pulled pork is the best thing on the menu!
Service was very friendly. They checked on me several times to see how the food was and even hooked me up with a free desert.
I really enjoyed the place and look forward to visiting again.
We ate a dinner catered by R&R BBQ. This was our first time eating food from this company, and the food was delicious. We had mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, smoked chicken, and smoked brisket. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The meat was very tender and very tasty. I also tried the peach cobbler with whipped cream. It was delightful--fresh, not too sweet, and cooked just right without the peaches being mushy. The pickles and bbq sauce was great, too, although I don't think the smoked meat needed any sauce. We also drank lemonade by R &R BBQ, and it was very good. The servers were friendly and attentive. We can't wait to go to R&R BBQ again.
Edit: We ended up going another time to R&R BBQ and getting take out. We got brisket, mashed potatoes, and hush puppies. The brisket and mashed potaoes were delicious, as they had been at the catered dinner. The hush puppies were fine, but next time, I would probably get a different side. We also ordered chips and queso, yummy.
Brisket was on the dry side, not what I had expected for the premium price of $30 per pound. Pulled pork was better, and the sweet and spicy sauces worked well together with the meats.
The Mac and Cheese was good, cheesy and creamy, and served warm, but the potato salad was pretty bland and disappointing. Could use something to up the flavor.
Service was okay. My eat-in order was served to go, not ideal, but it was fine.
Great food and good atmosphere. I had never been to this R&R BBQ location, it's a quaint little place stuffed in a strip mall. You might actually miss it if you're not looking. Great service from the staff there, and the food is amazing. I had a better salad here than last time I ate at R&R. They were so busy, they were actually out of the Turkey that was supposed to be on the salad. I chose to go with Chicken and it was just as good. Delicious meal and good environment to eat in. I really like this place.

Where do I begin?! The food of this place is absolutely delicious! Meet is tender and juicy, plenty of BBQ sauces that are sooo good. The pulled pork sandwhich was a great combination with the sweet pineapple. The servers are friendly and the ambience and music is entertaining. Will be coming back!
Tasted great! My husband lives the huge own of delicious nachos. I really liked the ribs and all the different bbq choices.
I was in town visiting and had a poor experience at another BBQ restaurant. Thankfully to my team members from the area they informed me of R&R BBQ. Before catching my flight out, I stopped in, and it was great! What a huge difference in friendliness and quality. They are why I love trying new spots.
Their brisket is consistently very good. Not the best I've had, but very good for a chain. Their sweet potato fries are excellent. Solid selection of sauces. Excellent service. We were there near closing and they offered us free cobbler. It also was great. I like to eat here when I visit SLC, as there isn't one near my home.
The food was absolutely delicious. My daughter and I were in Utah and we were extremely hungry. We decided to give R & R a try after reading reviews, and I am glad we did! The meat was flavorful, Mac and cheese was SUPER YUMMY, the bbq sauce was tasty and we liked the peach cobbler too. The only negative was they forgot my drink order, but the food made up for it.
