Dinner was very good my only issue was with how well-done the pasta was. I like my pasta al dente. Which this place didn’t hit the mark there. But to be fair, there are very few restaurants in Utah who actually cook pasta al dente… not sure why. But, the atmosphere was great, the service was friendly and attentive. Cool place to check out
Wanted to have a nice weekend branch with the family at the Garden Café, but the café and La Bonne Vie is currently closed for renovations. But they have moved their buffet-style Sunday Brunch, the buffet-style extended breakfast and dinner services in the Oak Dining Room.
So we had the Saturday’s Extended Breakfast Buffet in the Oak room. It’s a beautiful room. There weren’t that many items like the Sunday branch, but we were pretty happy with the options that were available for the price we paid (I personally felt like it’s a good deal).
The service was so good! Our server was Annabella and she was very attentive, helpful and friendly. We are planning on going back again for the Sunday branch ;)
The brunch here is AMAZING. The service is just wonderful. Our server was very hospitable, he went over the buffet and the menu options (first time visiting) he recommended the sea food and the bread pudding French toast which were both delicious! Beautiful dining experience, The Garden Cafe is now my favorite brunch spot. I highly recommend.
Stopped by for brunch. It’s was an enjoyable experience. First time visitors receive a short tour. They had crab legs and sushi, Eggs Florentine, omelettes, pancake, waffles, prime rib, desert stations and more. There are lots of options to choose from. I received a nice little rose which was an extra treat. What a lovely place.
Park Cafe was such a quaint cafe filled with tons of hip locals in Salt Lake City! The place is adorable and makes everything from scratch including their mixed berry jam served on the tables. I enjoyed a huge plate of huevos mexicanos served with corn tortillas and salsa verde whole my fiancé had the kid buu which was a chicken breast sandwich with fried onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, and tons of bbq sauce. Their park potatoes were buttery and seasoned to perfection.
There are tons of servers here dressed in their own fashion flair from piercings to ripped jeans and they are all super friendly and attentive. We had to wait a few minutes upon arrival on a weekend and you can even sit outside due to their innovative heating system. If you find yourself near Salt Lake City stop by this local favorite and bring your appetite!
Beautiful resturant and view from our table, service was friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are quite high, food is delicious but smaller portions. Ive been there for dinner and lunch both were good. My boyfroend had the lunch buffet and he said it was a great spread.
We stayed at the Grand for our last getaway before our first baby is born. We had the most amazing experience. We visited the spa and enjoyed walking all around seeing the Christmas decor.
The best part of the experience was during Sunday brunch at the Garden Cafe. While there, the Maitre D came around and greeted us. After telling him we are expecting he returned a short time later with wrapped macaroons for my wife and a brand new stuffed animal from the gift shop for our coming baby. This was true service that made the whole getaway better than any other location. Plus the brunch was the best we have ever had!
We were there for Branch, celebrating my friend's birthday. Food is really good, atmosphere is amazing. But its a little bit expensive. Only for very special occasion. VERY VERY special occasion!
Had the Lemon Riccotta pancakes, smothered in marscapone and blueberies, maple syrup on the side. Scrumptious! Where everyone knows your name. Par excellent!
When I asked for a gluten free menu the server instead walked me around the buffet pointing out everything that would be gluten free and safe for me to eat. He even pointed out that the sausage wasn't and because they use the same utensils if I wanted bacon he would just bring me some from the kitchen. I loved how informed and aware they are of croscontamination. They also had pretty great gluten free bread!
