Hungry Howie's Pizza

Have been ordering pizza from their downtown Rochester location for a good 5 years now . Pizza is always good no complaints but I ordered a pizza two days ago and came home to open the box and find out there was no cheese on it. Who has pizza without cheese ? Lol so I called them and the lady said I could get a free pizza next time I ordered . I hope I do get that free pizza 😀 apparently it’s an issue with the online ordering selections . I said “no” to extra mozzarella and it completely wiped out cheese from my pizza ! I see a few more complaints about the online ordering issues. Maybe hungry howies can update their online ordering system… just a suggestion !

Ordered a BBQ chicken on the website. It asked me if I wanted extra cheese. I did not Intend for extra cheese, but since they made a pop up come up asking me and saying "we promise it will be delicious"(literally)I said yes. Somehow between then and submitting the order it added another extra mozzarella, so I got a 3x mozzerlla..the pizza was disgusting and not edible when delivered. I ate one slice and gagged..there was like 4 layers of cheese, the bottom two not even cooked hardly. The whole cheese came off the slice as one goopy mess when i the first bite. I ordered butter crust, the entire pizza was soaking in butter So there was a glitch in their order form that messed up my order, easy to correct right? Just replace the pizza, give me a voucher for replacement pizza etc. Nope, I call and they said they can give me a free bread or pop next time I come? So now I'm out $32.00 I paid for this. This was disgusting and I would be careful ordering on howies online ordering system.

We absolutely love this Hungry Howie’s! We recently moved from Royal Oak and have had nothing but great experiences. Friendly staff, short wait times and everything is always cooked to perfection. You can tell this place is managed well and the employees are happy to be there. We’ll be life long customers!

This hungry Howie’s in downtown Rochester is nothing less than phenomenal! Between their answering service, customer service and their “under promise and over deliver” concept (literally) to your doorstep! I live in a condominium/ apartment complex and instead of leaving it at the complex entrance (like everyone else ) they delivered directly to me (and always wearing a mask / being distance safe and respectful). The best part of it all was that the pizza, flatbread And cookie were all still very hot and tasted amazing like always! The people living in this household were extremely happy and appreciative! I would be the 1st to write a review of a business that “dis-served” me ..... but every time I order from here, I am always so satisfied! And want to make sure this group gets their recognition!!!! So thank you for be awesome!Please stay safe!
