Swan's Market provides authentic German food; sausage, potato salad, red cabbage. Swan's specialty is sausage. They have many different types. I especially liked the spicy, cranberry sausage which has a bite, but is quickly cooled by favorable cranberries.
The atmosphere is a deli floor layout with close-fitting, cafeteria
style seating. It provides the opportunity
to meet new friends & share a meal.
The best part is after your meal, you can take some
delicious sausage back home to the family.

THE place to go for genuine German food. Whether you are eating lunch there or taking it home from the counter you can't go wrong. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere. Prost!
A hidden Gem. This is one of a few hole in the wall must eats in Rochester. Its the Rocky's of German cuisine. Homemade German food. Sausages, Schnitzels, Goulasch, Sauerkraut, German Potato Salad, red cabbage. The sausages are delicious and the communal atmosphere is great for meeting new people.
Anyway, this place is worth driving out of your way for. The staff was extremely inviting, the prices were VERY fair (currently $8.50 for the garbage plate and $7.50 for the Rouladen), and the food was the best German I have ever eaten. 5 stars: stop whatever you are doing and immediately go to Swan Market for lunch.
We got there right at opening and it was already starting to get busy! Definitely go early if you want seating. The service was fast and friendly. We loved everything we got and of course the beer!! Brownie points to the guys who broke out singing in a German song and then chugged their beer, definitely added to the vibe.
I visit Swan Market for the deli and German grocery items, so I don't have any thoughts on the dining experience. However, I absolutely love every product whether it's from the deli counter or the market shelves.
Went here on a Friday, it was quite packed but really welcoming. Had the sampler platter and got some German chocolate. The staff was fast and professional. Will be back here in the future!!!!

I've always rated Swan"s as five star, and they continue to be closer to 10 stars! Definitely my only go-to for fresh, smoked sausages and meats.
Authentic German butcher shop serving hot lunch meals & multiple Euro beers on tap w/ communal tables. Tastes & smells like a Euro deli w/ knowledgeable staff. Gem of Rochester!
One of the last places to get real German Foods. Had wonderful interactions with the employees who are so helpful And Happy to answer any questions. Great experience. You won't be disappointed.
Stopped by before they closed while visiting Rochester. Exceptional experience. Nice people. Amazing food. Great beer. Highly recommended!

The best knackwurst in NY state and everything they make is yummy. They serve daily lunches with quite a few options.I ordered goulash ... it brought me back to Germany. So good . Thank you Swan Market.!
Also the people are friendly and efficient. The place is priced fairly and clean.
