The good, bad, and ugly. Terrible service, crazy regulars who can be rude, but the food is good, the specials are awesome, and you can't beat white trash Wednesdays. Its the bar you would love to hate but you just don't and you keep going anyway.
Rented the upstairs for 80th birthday party. Space is perfect. Bartenders and servers were super. Food, sausage and chicken french, were delightful. I didn't eat the other food but everyone said it was delish too. I recommend highly. The downstairs bar seemed pretty chill too. Like a cool place to hang out and watch a game.
Tried the pizza, was not disappointed. So far the food there has always met expectations and service is usually good.

The Mac salad is amazing!! Seriously, it's the best. That alone may be worth the so-so service.

Merchants grill had an unexpectedly beautiful rental room with a private bar and bathrooms. Perfect for a baby or wedding shower.
Aside from the room they serve brunch on the weekends, and have awesome wings at decent prices.
Came here for a few beers during Monday Night Football. Lots of good draft beers on tap. Carol, our bartender, was a doll. She was very kind. Pizza and wings were great. Good specials for football games (see photo). Prices were very reasonable. Lots of TVs and one projector for games. Would definitely come back for a Sunday game.
This is a rare gem in the Rochester, NY area. This a place that can serve as a well needed night out with: Co-workers, Friends, and a Significant other. The food is great, the Service is such that it will probably be one of highest tipping spots. And I almost forgot the also will host your events (I am unsure on the prices), however I have attended 3 events at this place and they were great. Parking is no problem from my experience. Just a all-around great Bar/Place.
Great service! Amazing food! I recommend the corned beef and the chicken and waffles.
