Simply put, authentic Eastern European food! Family own and home style food. What a gem! Wish there were more places like this in the area.

Loved it. Everything was great. They seemed short-staffed so just be willing to give them some extra time. The waitress was fantastic, latte was perfect, and the food was so flavorful. The breakfast menu is rather small but they seemed willing to accommodate if we didn't see what we wanted. I got the eggs and ham on sourdough toast with hollandaise. Desserts are spectacular as well. A wonderful little place.

First visit today for breakfast. Atmosphere is clean and modern, yet cozy. There is an espresso machine and the coffee was Italian, nice and strong. They also had a good tea selection. It wasn't very busy and the chef came out to speak to us and said he would make anything we wanted and we weren't limited to the menu. So I ordered crepes with eggs, sour cream and caviar. My boyfriend got poached eggs in a pepper sauce with grilled pita. The food was excellent and the staff was very nice. They have a wonderful shop next to the cafe too with Eastern European imports. Will definitely return and can highly recommend this place if you're looking for something fun and different :)

I have found a gem of a Deli! If you like the food of Eastern European Cuisines then you need to check this place out! This place is absolutely delightful! A great selection of canned goods, ranging from meat to pickles, noodles and breads, but what really impressed me are the homemade traditional foods they so lovingly offer from their own kitchen. Stuffed cabbages, meat and vegetable stuffed noodles, along with some impressive desserts. On top of all of that, there is the most wonderful couple running the business, (I'm sorry I didn't get their names). Incredibly helpful and very friendly. They have been in business for a long time and still have the passion and respect for customers. You will not be unhappy with this place, one of the nicest European Deli's I've ever been to. I absolutely recommend that you go and check em out, I definitely will be going back again.

Lovely little treasure hidden in the town of Penfield. Lots of Eastern European goodies and snacks. Will definitely be returning to try more.

They are amazing people and treat you right! Remember they come from a different country and culture, which is fascinating to me. The cold cuts are always delicious and fresh, the bread is so good and their knishes are homemade … my son loves them! Thank you for serving us. Owning a small business is a lot of work and it’s very much appreciated!

It's great to have an import shop in town. There's a pretty wide selection of food from around Eastern Europe. Not so much from Central and Western Europe. The foods are a hard-to-find delicacy and at not unreasonable prices for imports. The inventory changes seasonally and particularly around the holidays. At that point they stock up on popular items such as those from Germany for Weinachten. I've had their liquor filled chocolates and they are quite good and fresh as well, Especially considering their import status.

The food is really good. We enjoyed their blintzes, red borscht, Pyrizhky, slaw type salad and cakes.

Fresh homemade blintzes are to die for! In addition to traditional cheese, they also have cabbage, mushroom, and meat filled varieties as well. Their homemade soups and pierogis are fantastic! They have real rye bread you can't get at other grocery stores in the area, their assortment of pickled vegetables and jarred sauces are great, and they've got all sorts of Eastern European desserts. This is such a treat to have in Rochester!

All I did was pop in and buy some pierogis, but it's nice to get a reminder of how out-of-touch we can get by shopping in homogenized supermarkets. This place has aisles of awesome central European food. Next time, I'm going on there with a meal plan and a shopping list.

This is a great place to shop at when you make appetizers. Love their kielbasas, cheeses, drinks, breads, smoked fish, sweets and so much more. Definitely recommend for you to try it, look at different options and let your creativity work for you.
