Schallers Ridge Road

The food was great! The staff seem to get along. However, I'm going to comment because if a particular situation. I'm sure my review will change again soon. However, I went there on 10/6/23, and I could hear the manager or shift leader asking one if the employees to finish something that should've been doing a while ago. He gave ever excuse as to why he couldn't do it. It was offered for him and another person to work on it together. At one point, a customer said, "there's no I in team." She was correct, and as a black woman who watched that, it was a little embarrassing to see that from a young black male. The manager who was cooking the food was very polite, and I commend her on how she handled the situation. To be completely honest, if her had argued with me like that, I would've just fired him and asked him to get out of the establishment. You should never have back talk to your manager, especially if something was part of the job. Other than that, everything was excellent! I will be back. If that young man is in there, I'll have a few words next time with a manager present.

Love it here. Just happened to be nearby. Wish there were more locations. If I were them I would start offering chicken wings as well. Only fresh wings though not the frozen ones and make a plate out of it. Fresh wings makes all the difference. Also, consider making your own freshly made FF like In n’ Out does to differentiate yourselves from all of the other burger places. It really wouldn’t cost you that much more in labor to do so. Also, keep the pickles. Love them!! Also, not sure if you have this but offer a fried egg for the burgers as well. Yummy!!

Was my first time going into Schaller's, more of a surprise than anything else. Sometimes a gem falls into ones lap. I ordered the Fish Fry and was not disappointed. I usually do not give a five star rating the first time I eat somewhere. But I have to make an exception this time. Schaller's is a place you definitely want to try for the Fish Fry. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is great. I've been in Rochester for a long time, growing up in Webster, but never stopping here before. I won't make that mistake again. I also want to take the time out to thank the person who took my order. Her name is Sam, and she really seems to like working there. Thanks again Sam for the good conversation, and making an old man feel young again, you were my one blessing for the day! The only request from me is that they update the prices on their website. They are misleading. That was the only downside to my experience. Again, stop at Schaller's, you won't be disappointed. One of the best Fish Fries in Rochester.
