We tried this place out of nowhere just to try something different. This was amazing. The service was excellent. The bar lit up different colors as it had items placed on it. All in all, I can’t say much more, but 10/10 would recommend, including my typical, most eyed-upon, item, the price. Great for the quality
Absolutely phenomenal!!
The food was beyond delicious. Our server, Jakeb was amazing. He gave some recommendations and the rolls we got did not disappoint! Can't wait to go back! Would recommend 1,000%.
Food was good. We had appetizers (I forgot to take pictures of them) and sushi +entrees. The place started to get packed so the server and bartender seemed to be stretched thin after that. It took 20 minutes to get the check.
I had an amazing time at the sushi restaurant! The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented, with a great variety of flavors. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!
My daughter was having a sushi fix so we looked up a couple of new places to go to and she wanted to try level especially because they have a light up bar. Located right on Broad Street we were able to park right out front. As my daughter put it it looks a little sketchy from the outside but inside is very nice and very cool. We sat at the bar had a wonderful bartender service. My daughter got a couple of Shirley Temple's that she was very excited about and then moved her glass all over the Bar top watching the lights turn on. Really good size bar to sit at not an overly large place inside but they had a quite a few tables and it looks like they actually had an upstairs as well. They have a large chalkboard that had a number of daily specials listed on it so depending on what you're looking for certain days may be better for you. We ordered a Dragon Roll, Chesapeake roll and eel love roll. Good size portions and great presentation. My daughter said that the Chesapeake roll was her new favorite sushi. There were a good amount of people in there but our food came still pretty quick. I would highly recommend this place have a great atmosphere good bar scene and really good sushi!
The outside of the restaurant is deceiving - it is actually quite trendy inside! The sushi and hibachi were both delicious. The service was great. We will definitely be back.
After trying many sushi places in RVA (Akida, Osaka, Lucky AF, Carytown Sushi, etc.), I tried for the first time LEVEL Sushi and Asian Fusion. I was extremely impressed with the quality of their fish; extremely fresh and rather plenteous slices of sashimi (and it was a Sunday evening!). The menu is large and contains sushi/sashimi, hibachi, various Asian apps, other kitchen items, along with wonderful desserts like fried ice cream and tempura (fried) Oreos! The cool and laid back atmosphere inside belies the rather nondescript exterior. The servers were great; very welcoming and efficient. For me, I enjoyed my dining experience at LEVEL as much if not more than some of the other players in RVA. If you have not tried LEVEL, I encourage you to do so soon!
Great place. 1st time there. I do not like sushi and still had a good selection to chose from. Wonderful noodle dish!
This place did not look like much from the outside, however the inside looks like and is a wonderful Japanese and Hibachi restaurant. The food is outstanding and stunningly beautiful to see. The Sushi was beautiful in the color combinations and in the blend of flavors. Additionally the beer selection was great and diverse.
The bento lunch box here is awesome! I liked the fried rice and the teriyaki salmon, it's very flavorful and delicious. Will visit again next time
