Absolutely gorgeous view to match their incredible food and great beer selection. A must go to. While enjoying their peel and eat shrimp, we watched an eagle swoop down for a fish from the James River below us and carry it to its nest. The bar started chanting USA, USA! Service was spot on as well. They featured 11 Three Notch’d beers this particular night and they were all delicious. Check this place out ASAP!
My wife and I frequent conch Republic usually 3 times a month. We love the atmosphere and we loved the view of the water, however one of the best things about coming here is our waitress, Melissa. She is one of the best servers. She is very friendly and ensures that your glass is full and plate is empty. She is an assett to this place. The food is good and the atmosphere is awesome.

Came here for the first time and was not disappointed! Food was good. Ambience was nice that over looks James river that gave it a more calming vibe. joy was also out server and was very nice and attentive to us while we were there along with the rest of the staffs.
Last night my fiancé and I experienced the heated igloo at Island Shrimp Co at Rockets landing for their Rum & Reindeer Holiday pop-up. We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, service, and food. Michi was our server and she was beyond amazing! The food was delicious and the drinks were on point. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a great time out and thank you Michi for your exceptional service.
We came out to celebrate a birthday with family and friends and cannot brag enough about the service, food, and drinks. Incredible flavor, definitely recommend dropping what you're doing and coming here for happy hour drinks and dinner! And if you're lucky enough to have Mitchie as your server, then your drinks will never run out. She is on top of everything and tops it off with an incredible personality.
I really enjoyed the igloo vibe. The ambiance and decor was nice. The electric fireplace kept the igloo heated but I recommend to dress for outside. The server Mitchie was prompt and friendly.
Alycen “aly” made my night she was very attentive and sweet throughout the night and made sure my order came out fast and hot. I didnt know how one’s service and smile could brighten a long work day ! Happy hour was amazing 🤩 Will come again soon maybe with some friends and reservation. My bartender - Kiana was amazing and had a recommendation waiting for me once again if you haven’t came for happy hour please do and bring the whole family atmosphere is amazing.
We went here during their happy hour and we enjoyed every minute. First of, the view was phenomenal and they music playlist created a very relaxing chill vibe. Second, the food was good. You get a lot a lot for happy hour prices. Lastly, the outdoor setting makes you feel like your in an island.
We were seated and we received water and then no one approached us. Blu was seating someone else and asked if we had been taken care or. She did a phenomenal job and made sure that we had a great experience. Thank you.
The view at Rocketts Landing is perfect! The music was great! I'm an island girl, I love afrobeats. The drinks were pretty and strong, the coconut shrimp has real coconut sprinkled over them and the dipping sauce!!!! 👌🏾👌🏾 the fish tacos were great as well. Lastly but definitely not least, the staff!! Very attentive and friendly. The manager is a sweetheart as well. Love it here! 10 out of 10! Definitely recommend!
Will definitely come back when the weather is nice. We arrived right when the storm came in. Other than that, this place is a for sure Vibe. I ordered the nachos, and they were delicious. The hot chicken sandwich was also very tasty. Server Taliega was super sweet.
My family and I loved the atmosphere. I personally think that's what makes this restaurant worth the visit.
I decided to rate this restaurant 4 out of 5 because they weren't very attentive to our needs. I didn't feel welcomed. The waiters didn't ask us if we needed anything. (and the restaurant wasn't busy) It seems like their making money regardless. (I guess they don't need to be attentive to guests)
Island Shrimp Co. definitely gives island vibes. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Being on the James River is a plus. Especially when the weather is nice.
