Came here for the first time and was not disappointed! Food was good. Ambience was nice that over looks James river that gave it a more calming vibe. joy was also out server and was very nice and attentive to us while we were there along with the rest of the staffs.

Last night my fiancé and I experienced the heated igloo at Island Shrimp Co at Rockets landing for their Rum & Reindeer Holiday pop-up. We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, service, and food. Michi was our server and she was beyond amazing! The food was delicious and the drinks were on point. We came out to celebrate a birthday with family and friends and cannot brag enough about the service, food, and drinks. Incredible flavor, definitely recommend dropping what you're doing and coming here for happy hour drinks and dinner! And if you're lucky enough to have Mitchie as your server, then your drinks will never run out. She is on top of everything and tops it off with an incredible personality.

I really enjoyed the igloo vibe. The ambiance and decor was nice. The electric fireplace kept the igloo heated but I recommend to dress for outside. The server Mitchie was prompt and friendly.

Alycen “aly” made my night she was very attentive and sweet throughout the night and made sure my order came out fast and hot. I didnt know how one’s service and smile could brighten a long work day ! Happy hour was amazing 🤩 Will come again soon maybe with some friends and reservation. My bartender - Kiana was amazing and had a recommendation waiting for me once again if you haven’t came for happy hour please do and bring the whole family atmosphere is amazing.

We went here during their happy hour and we enjoyed every minute. First of, the view was phenomenal and they music playlist created a very relaxing chill vibe. Second, the food was good. You get a lot a lot for happy hour prices. Lastly, the outdoor setting makes you feel like your in an island.

The view at Rocketts Landing is perfect! The music was great! I'm an island girl, I love afrobeats. The drinks were pretty and strong, the coconut shrimp has real coconut sprinkled over them and the dipping sauce!!!! 👌🏾👌🏾 the fish tacos were great as well. Lastly but definitely not least, the staff!! Very attentive and friendly. The manager is a sweetheart as well. Love it here! 10 out of 10! Definitely recommend!

Will definitely come back when the weather is nice. We arrived right when the storm came in. Other than that, this place is a for sure Vibe. I ordered the nachos, and they were delicious. The hot chicken sandwich was also very tasty. Server Taliega was super sweet.

My family and I loved the atmosphere. I personally think that's what makes this restaurant worth the visit.
I decided to rate this restaurant 4 out of 5 because they weren't very attentive to our needs. I didn't feel welcomed. The waiters didn't ask us if we needed anything. (and the restaurant wasn't busy) It seems like their making money regardless. (I guess they don't need to be attentive to guests)
Island Shrimp Co. definitely gives island vibes. The restaurant was spacious and clean. Being on the James River is a plus. Especially when the weather is nice.

Our server, Caroline, was attentive, friendly, and professional. She stopped by to check on us and to refill water and offer more drinks — just the right amount of attention. The atmosphere was outstanding — we sat outside and watched walkers, bicyclists, dogs, and boats on the Capital Trail and the James River. Food was very food. We enjoyed a chance to talk with James the Executive Chef who stopped by our table. We will definitely visit again and try more of the delicious sounding offerings on the menu. This evening we had the crab dip, shrimp tacos, and lobster & shrimp fried rice.

Stopped by for an app and a drink after the Boat parade, and set at the bar with no wait time. They were busy, but Blu was awesome! 👏 We got our drinks, had a quick crab dip to share, and we have a proof we were out of the house! Haha

With the desire to dine beside the sun setting over the James came the discovery of a destination offering more than just a pretty view. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were exceptional. Yet, it was the vibe that truly made the experience such a delight for us.
It was hard to get a bite in with all of the boogying we were doing and had to check our phones a few times to make sure our Bluetooth hadn't accidentally paired with their speakers. They played that many of our favorites!
The missus ordered the Garlic Shrimp Aloha Pineapple Boat and complimented its palatability and presentation. I mean, who doesn't like eating their dinner out of a pineapple? However, she also felt the portion didn't quite match the price.
My Big Wave Fish and Chips on the other hand were worth every penny and better with every bite. Also, while I was bummed they were out of the Island Wings, the Crab Dip proved to be a worthy substitute, and I ended up enjoying the fried wontons instead of regular tortilla chips.

Beautiful view of the River and clean cozy atmosphere. Lovely old school reggae music playing brining back memories of Jamaica. I had the Garlic shrimp Pineapple dish and it was DELICIOUS 🤤😋

Great food. Great atmosphere. The patio is beautiful. The service was extremely spotty but the management team recognized they were having a tough night and comp'ed the entire meal, which was more than I was expecting. Would be happy to try again.

My first visit to Island Shrimp Co. I was pleasantly surprised and truly enjoyed the meal. I order the Lumpia as an appetizer and the Big Wave Fish & Chips. Everything was delicious and filling. I will be going back to Island Shrimp Co at Rocketts Landing. Highly recommend you visit for a really great dining experience!!

It was our 11th wedding Anniversary, and also the 2nd anniversary of my grandmother's passing and they made it a night to remember. Our server Mitchie and the manager Alycen were so attentive. They allowed my husband to drop off flowers and balloons to our igloo ahead of time. The staff gave us an anniversary card, champagne toast, and complimentary dessert. It was amazing and so was the anniversary. Thank you for making our 11th anniversary so special!

I had a splendid time with the people I was with. The scenery and atmosphere was nice. Right off the water. Serene. I ordered the shrimp dip... excellent. Good texture, flavor, and it was delicious. Now, our server...was less than to be desired. I, myself, got our table of 5, water, silverware, napkins, and got the hostess to bring us a side of mayo. Service can affect the ambience of any meal and experience. Our waiter, was very unattentive. The hostess lady, actually came back to check on us, got us another pitcher of water to have on the table. She, was excellent. Most cases of the lack of service and attentiveness, makes one not want to go back. I'll be back. But, he won't be my server.

Absolutely gorgeous view to match their incredible food and great beer selection. A must go to. While enjoying their peel and eat shrimp, we watched an eagle swoop down for a fish from the James River below us and carry it to its nest. The bar started chanting USA, USA! Service was spot on as well. They featured 11 Three Notch’d beers this particular night and they were all delicious. Check this place out ASAP!

My wife and I frequent conch Republic usually 3 times a month. We love the atmosphere and we loved the view of the water, however one of the best things about coming here is our waitress, Melissa. She is one of the best servers. She is very friendly and ensures that your glass is full and plate is empty. She is an assett to this place. The food is good and the atmosphere is awesome.

The food over priced and awful. Seemed like it was all frozen food . Drinks and view great but our waitress was on the rude side and not helpful whatsoever . I would go back for drinks and view but that's it . Needs menu change with a good chef .

We had an amazing experience tonight!! Sat outside with perfect weather and a beautiful view of downtown � We've only lived in the area a few months and this place is by far one of our favorites. First time there on an October Sunday afternoon. Had the good fortune of having Mackie on duty at the bar, and got a bit of background on the business. Love that the place is her dad's! The mussels I had were amazing. My honey liked the crab cake sandwich. Beautiful view of the James River - we'll be back!!

Over priced for what you got. Food wasn't that great. Service was awful had to keep asking for drink fills etc. It wasnt busy waitress only had one other table. Waited 30 min for a drink because the bartender was on her cell phone and was told by the waitress that she not sure if the bartender is going to make the drink or not. Enjoyed the view and good company with friends. Definitely wont be back.

Made the trip down to Richmond to bike the capital trail, and that's where I spotted this little gem. Great view, very relaxed atmosphere, and fast service. Super sweet waitress. We will defiantly go back!

Great food , drinks and atmosphere.
Glad Denise found it, will come again I hope. Had the gator bites , calamari and a crab cake sandwich with a glass of �. Watched the boats coming in from the James River. They are revitalizing the area, it was easy to get here from the Hollywood Cemetery and Maymont Estate. Perfect for a day trip and perfect weather!
